Reno sighed as he watched Elaina show the new girl around.

Rude sighed.

"Man if you wanna talk to her just do it."

"You don't get it. What if I say something she don't like. Ya know?"

~

Elaina smiled as she showed the new member around.

"What did you say you went in for?"

"I can't really explain it. But I can show you."

Elaina nodded.

The new girl took off one of her gloves and touched Elaina.

"Wow." Elaina took a breath. "So you know Reno huh?"

"Please don't say anything yet."

"I won't."

~

Over the next few days, Reno found out what her name was and that she is the same age as him.

He still wasn;t ready to talk to her yet.

He went with Shinra to deal with upset citizens.

The new girl went with them.

"All you do is take kida away from good homes!"

That made the new girl look them dead in the eyes.

"Sir, please allow me to deal with them."

"Go ahead Y/n."

The crowd stood silent.

"When he said my name you all went quiet. That means you know a little about me." She said slowly walking into the crowd. "If you want to know the truth, you can touch my hands and feel the pain I felt rom what you claim was a good home."

The gloves ere off and so was her suit jacket.

Everyone started reaching out and her walls crumbled.

Even people who didn't touch her could see and feel the pain she went through.

A child like voice called out Reno's name and his eyes widened as that voice changed into an adults.

Once the crowd left, Reno ran to her.

"I gottcha hun."

"Sorry."

"It's okay."

"You weren't supposed to hear that."

"What you screaming for me as a child?"

She nodded.

"You got left behind and when I went back, everything was gone. I thought you were dead."

"I'm here. So what do you say."

"I say it's time for me to keep my promise of a better life with you."

She smiled and kissed his lips.

He felt the same way she did.

They were together and that was their home.
