Full Moon... (Toph x Fem! Reader)

Your POV

....

You were on your way to prepare for your "hangout" with your close friend Toph. You intended on Confessing tonight, as you've had a crush on Toph for a while now. You were ready and prepared for the worst of any outcome.

"Okay, tonight is the night!" you said, talking to yourself, putting both hands on your hips, and smiling in the mirror. You didn't want to admit it to yourself, but you were extremely nervous. You didn't want to screw this up you thought...

Hearing your clock chime signaling it was time for your 'hangout' you sigh and give yourself one last glance in the mirror, " You can do this, just don't screw up like you always do..." You sighed, and made your way to the door, exiting your house to meet Toph.

Your mind was racing while making your way to the spot where you both were going to meet. On the way, you found some flowers on the ground, them being lotus flowers, though it was dark out, you still went on and picked some because no one can resist good flowers.

Once you get the Lotuses you go on to get to Toph before it gets too dark outside and you end up not seeing where Toph is.

You eventually made it, to find Toph sitting on the ground looking down into the nearby river, even though she couldn't 'look' in the first place. You approached her slowly, wanting to scare her.

Toph, who had sense faster than you could imagine well- not really as you could have imagined it. She sensed you coming and had already anticipated you were going to do this. So, instead of making your trip with her earth-bending, she decided to play along.

You jumped out and gripped her shoulders with a shriek. Toph played along, smirking with a fake gasp.

"Boo!" You shrieked

"Oh no, it appears that I have been scared by the least scary person to exist. Aaaah." Toph said sarcastically, waving her hands in a jazzy motion. She laughed snarkily before looking back at you with a smile.

"You can admit you were a LITTLE scared by me?" you pouted. in which Toph rolls her eyes.

"Definitely... Say, what do you have in your hand?" Toph said Feeling your hands, You opened your hand so she could get the flowers but instead, she felt your hands instead. Softly feeling the texture of your palms as your face turns bright red.

"Uh, Toph.." You said, confused yet never wanting her to stop. Toph on the other hand let go of your hand, flowers in her hands as she snickered at you with a grin.

"Don't get ideas, I was just feeling your palm so if I'm holding someone's hand-"

She holds her palm against yours...

"I can tell it's you."

You blushed a bit harder, at that moment you looked into her seafoam green eyes and then to her lips, as you both got closer and closer...

"Wait." You said backing up

"Oh, Oh! I'm sorry, shit... I'm sorry-"

"No... It's not you... Come follow me..."

You grab her hand, as you walk away from the river and you take her up a hill where the moon is in full view.

"Here..." You look at the moon and then back at Toph who is staring back at you with practical heart eyes.

"The moon is full so it's prettier up here.."

"Yeah, pretty.." Toph softly said.

"Also... there's something I've been wanting to tell you..." You said taking a deep breath.

"Oh (Y/N), shut up."

"Wh-What?.."

At that moment Toph pressed her lips against yours, gripping your waist. You were shocked but relieved and kissed back.

The kiss was blissful as both of you melted into each other.

You pulled away. "How- How did you know?"

"...I could just tell."

You rolled your eyes a kissed her again wrapping your arms around her neck as both of you took a breath.

The light glistened over you both as you smiled at each other...

Surely this was THE night to remember..
