Jenna had finished her homework groaning, she never thought she'd be doing homework again, but she couldn't let her other being come back and being so behind on school "So is your birthday the same or did it change?" Aliyah asked as she looked at the date on her phone thinking about her sisters birthday "What? why would it change?" Markus looked at her as if she were crazy "you never know people can change their birthdays if they want to" She backfired making Markus shook his head as he left to his room leaving the two alone "It's the same, on the twenty seven " She said smiling softly, she looked down on her notebook, she remembered she didn't celebrate her 20th birthday with her family or Y/n
"C'mon Jenna just tell them your gonna celebrate with us" Jenna frowned on hearing this, all of her 'friends' nodding and motivating her to stay and party with them, Jenna didn't say a word, she just walked outside thinking about what to do, all she could think about was how excited Y/n sounded and how happy her parents sounded as well, since her girlfriend sucked at keeping surprises she had said she had plans that she would love with her mainly and her family had things planned out too, but she really didn't want to leave...she didn't know why, peer pressure? Yes, because deep inside she was dying to see her family and her girlfriend, but she didn't want her friends to say stuff like 'you suck, your such a party pooper, damn you for real leaving us?' things like that, she closed her eyes taking a deep breath hitting the facetime icon on Y/n's contact, it only rang once, Y/n's face popped up with her cute smile and excited face
"Hi babe!! are you on your way to the airport??" the first thing she asked, she was so excited her girlfriend was finally coming home, Jenna looked at her behind her "Are you in my room?" She asked with a small smile, Y/n's eyes widen, there was no need to even try and hide it, she nodded "Yeah..i was gonna surprise you! but i guess i got to excited" She said giving her a pout, Jenna smiled softly, she wanted to kiss that pout and tell her she sucked at keeping surprises but before she could say anything one of her friends asked her very loudly if she'd already called to let her family know she wasn't leaving, Y/n frowned right away, Jenna cursing under her breath, she quickly turned to see Y/n's sad eyes "Your not..coming for your birthday?" She asked sadly, Jenna's chest tighten nodding "Oh...why?" That was a good question, why? cause she wanted approval of her famous friends? "They wanna celebrate my birthday babe" Y/n nodded "i understand that but they see you all the time and we don't..we had things planned Jenna all for you" She said trying to make her girlfriend ditch on her friends but Jenna only shook her head "It's okay we'll celebrate some o"ther day" Y/n pursed her lip only nodding "Can you please tell my parents?" Y/n raised an eyebrow at her "Your being for real right now?" Before Jenna could answer someone took her phone ending the call "PARTY"
Y/n looked down at her phone, taking a few minutes to see if she'd call back but she never did, she walked to the Ortega family with a sad smile letting them know Jenna had a last minute thing
"She canceled " She said with a sad smile, they let her stay until her flight
Jenna on the other hand regretted doing that and staying but even tho she regretted it, she still had fun.
"I'll get you a present!" Aliyah said happily breaking her out of her memories "I'd love that"
Never missing to celebrate with you guys again, she thought
Mean while Y/n packed her bags for Coachella, she was going to go so she could rest and think for a few days, like vacations, Coachella for some reason this year sounded so homey and amazing, she was excited to be going there. She had already booked an airbnb, she felt like she was going to spend like two weeks there
