Janani's whole family was gearing up for Anusha's engagement. They all went for shopping the next day as per Raghu's advice. Janani was a fan of different types of jhimiki's, she had collection of them already, yet, she purchased some unique and beautiful jhumkas to her liking to add them to her collection. Kowshik was exhausted after the whole shopping spree as he was literally dragged to every other shop by his beloved wife and sister. They didn't even let him sit for a while even when they were choosing because, he was given the job of selecting the best outfits among which they both together short-listed. Luckily, he had a four consecutive days of holidays in his office because of which he was able to accompany them as well as attend Anu's engagement without availing any leave.
After shopping, they went to their favourite hotel and had an hearty lunch before returning home. After they came home, Janani and Swetha eagerly showed Savitri what all they bought while Kowshik retired to rest for a while. Savitri along with her daughters, as she refers to them, sat together to decide upon what to be worn the next day. They kept ready the saree along with the matching blouse and all other accessories that they wanted to pair with it.
Raghu bought the fruits and flowers to be taken to Anusha's house as a 'Seer' from their side to Anusha's house the next day. He along with the help of ladies, arranged them and packed them properly. By the time they finished all these, it was already evening. So, Savitri prepared them coffee, tea and malt as per their preferences. Then it was decided that they'll have Savitri's special poori masala for dinner as Swetha had been craving it for so long. During the dinner, they enjoyed the poori masala along with their all time favourite classic tamil movie 'Thillu Mullu' starring Rajinikanth.

"Padma Nilayam"
The whole house was decorated with garlands and strings of flowers, vowing to Anusha's engagement. Not only that, the guests have started pouring in and it was filled with the chatters, gossips and laughters of them. This made Anusha all the more anxious and stressed than she was. She was apprehensive about the engagement. She didn't want to disappoint her mother at any cost and was praying that everything should happen smoothly. She was pacing the lawn with these thoughts running in her mind. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice the person approaching her from the back in a stealthy manner.
The person who came from her back, closed her eyes all of a sudden as a way of surprising her. But her next movement, felt him shocked and surprised!
Anusha shrieked out of fear and jerked back violently pushing away his hands harshly.
"Hey! Chill! It's me!" He said immediately, after which she calmed down a little hearing the intruders voice..
He was none other than her brother, Aadi. He just wanted to prank her a little but never expected such a reaction from her.
It wasn't the first time he has done it, but her reaction was something different and scary, not like the previous times. This made him concerned about her.
"Dolly! Ennachu?" He asked seating her in the swing they had in the lawn [What happend?]"Onnum illa na. Just bayanthuten." She shrugged off and looked away. He sensed that she was overthinking something. [Nothing na. Just got scared.]
"Hey! Tell me what's bothering you?" He asked sensing her foul mood. She was surprised by his query. She kept looking at him too stunned to speak anything.
"Nothing Anna!" She replied sensing his scrutinizing gaze on her. She was wrong in assuming that he wouldn't realise it's fake, but he did. Afterall he was Aadithya, her brother who watched her grow to the woman she is today and knew what her every expression/ action meant.
He understood that she didn't want to share whatever it was. He decided to distract her, instead of making her worried by probing further in to it.
"Here, have this!" He cheered up showing her a small cup of her favourite chocochip ice cream which he kept well hidden till now. She gave him a beautiful smile, which erased all the worry and sadness marring her face. He reciprocated the same, feeling happy for her. However their happiness was short-lived.
