Janani was quick to realize her abductor. For, she knows the person like the back of her hand. Just the smell of the person was enough for to identify her. She came out of her grip and immediately turned towards the person while frowning.
"Ennathu ithu? Thirunthave maatiya?" she asked swatting the person's hand in a friendly manner. [What is this? Will you ever change?]
Clicking her tongue out, the other person shrugged saying- "Never!" Janani face palmed herself seeing her bestfriend's childish acts. She was her Jyo, (Jyothi) her secret keeper, her best friend next to Anusha. These were the little musketeers of their family. Oh extended family. Jyothi was a common yet distant cousin to Koushik and Aadi's family. Jyothi bonded really quickly with Jaanu and Anusha while they met at a relative's wedding. Jyothi was three years elder to both of them which meant she was same age as Swetha, who was her darling.. according to her.
"Jaggu enga?" Jaanu asked setting herself right. This attracted Jyothi's attention to her. [Where is Jaggu?]
"Avan late ah varuvan. Etho office la important work aam." Jyo replied while they walked out of the secluded corner. Jaggu or Jagadeesh, was Jyothi's younger brother who recently finished his post graduation and secured a job in his campus selection. He was the book smart kid in their cousins and was often praised for his bookish knowledge. [He will come late, he has some work to finish.. it seems]
"Hmm." Jaanu replied as Jyo lead her to Anusha's room. There Anusha was clicking pictures as instructed by her mother adorning a beautiful royal blue half saree wearing elegant makeup. She looked so pure and innocent. Her hair was left open and this was cherry on the top. It complimented her look so well.
"Aww! I'm sure Mama would be flat." Jaanu winked making Anu turn beetroot red. She just shook her head chuckling lightly. Then the sisters teased Anu to their heart's content, making her blush badly.
"Seri (Okay), come let's take pictures together now." Anu said and the two agreed. They clicked some stills, posing differently and the camerman did his job efficiently. In between they also asked him to click pictures in their phones which he did instantly.
"Anu, okay we'll go out and ask if our help is needed." Jyo said and she dragged Jaanu along with leaving Anu on her own.
As they came out, Jaanu unexpectedly bumped in to someone as she didn't watch out. "Aah!" She gasped due to the sudden impact.
"Hey! Careful." They heard a manly voice and the girls looked up to find none other than the bride's brother standing there with an apologetical look on his face.
The moment he realized who the girl he bumped into was, his jaw dropped looking at the beauty standing in front of him. He became awestruck at her beauty and kept looking at her forgetting his surroundings.
*Clearing of throat*
"Looks like someone is too stunned to speak." Jyo said giggling, Jaanu too joined in quickly. The man quickly regained his composture hearing their laughs and said-
"No, nothing like that. Just got little zoned out."
"How are you Jyo Akka? It's been very long since we met.. isn't it?" He asked smiling at her genuinely.
"I'm good da. Then, how's life.. Anu got her prince charming.. when are you gonna select? Or is it already selected?"
She asked winking at him."Umm.. nothing like that Akka. Stop pulling my legs! Akka, seri konjam Vela irruku I'll catch up with you later." He took leave and went away, without even bothering to glance at Janani, who was watching him talk like a love sick puppy with a shy smile. Her eyes followed him all the way till he disappeared behind the wall. [Okay, I have a few works]
