"Every day is a fresh beginning; Every morn is a world made new."
"What's happening Ai'Pete? Why this sudden cleaning frenzy? Is Khun Nu coming again to trouble Ai'Vegas?" Porche asked, as he watched Pete direct the servants, who ran around trying to clear up things at his command. "No, no, Rain is coming!" Pete shouted, not caring how crazy he sounded. "Rain? But the weather seems pretty pleasant today?" Porche looked puzzled. "Ai'Satt! The boy Phayu likes is coming!" Pete screeched, almost out of his mind with worry as he wanted to ensure that everything was perfect. "What? Varain? Varain Kirigun? Are you serious?" Porche was thrilled and worried at the same time. "But why is he coming? Did you ask?" "No Porche, and that too, he is coming with his parents. Moreover, he has asked us not to tell Phayu or Pai. I am seriously worried too!" he looked at Porche, tension clear on his face. "I will go and tell Kinn, and ask him to join us too," Porche said, patting Pete on the back, before he picked up his phone to call his husband.
By noon, everything was ready. The Kiriguns were expected at 1 pm, for lunch, but both Pete and Vegas didn't want to take any chances. Porche and Kinn were also waiting with bated breath to find out what would be the outcome of the meeting. What did they want? What did Rain want? At exactly 12.45, the bell rang. "Are they here already? They are early!" hissed Pete. "Can you chill? We are all set. We are ready for them," Vegas tried to calm his husband. "Calm down Pete. We will find out soon enough what is it that they want from us," Kinn patted Pete on the back, as Porche went to open the door. He came back with Rain and his fathers. Everyone stood up and waiied to each other. Rain was especially hugged by Pete, who couldn't find someone cuter than this boy and was thrilled to see him again.
"Please, please be seated. We are so happy to have you here, all of you. Even Rain," Vegas said to Tharn and Type and Rain, as he smiled at the young boy, who bowed in return. His smile was enough to light up the room, and the Theerpanayakul men were bowled over by the beautiful boy. They were so excited to know why this meeting was taking place. In their hearts, Vegas and Pete and even Kinn and Porche desperately wanted Rain to be a part of their family, so they wanted to do everything right by Rain! "What can we offer you? Coffee? Lunch? Everything is ready, so whatever you need," Pete said, with his trademark beautiful smile. "We don't need anything Khun Pete. Rain here wanted to talk to all of you, so we decided to reach out to you," Tharn said, in a polite tone. "Please, no need to be so formal. Just Pete will do," Pete said. "So Rain, what did you want to talk to us about?" Vegas asked, smiling at Rain.
"I would like to speak to you about P'Phayu," Rain said. "What about him?" Porche asked, worry lacing his tone. "Please don't worry. It's nothing serious, just something I wanted to discuss with you," Rain said with a smile. He then went on to tell them everything that had happened between Phayu and him since the event. He told them what his friends had said and also what he had discussed with his parents. The only thing he held back on was the fact that he was falling in love with Phayu, because that was something still very private in his head. He did not want anyone to know about it yet. "So Rain, what do you think?" Kinn asked him. "Khun Kinn, I will be very honest with you as well, just like I was with P'Phayu. His reputation precedes him, and so does yours. You can't talk about P'Phayu without knowing about your family. So I just want to know what you think. My family and I are regular people. And being with P'Phayu will affect all of us, not only my family, but the families and friends associated with us. I know something really bad must have happened to him, otherwise he would not have become like this. I will not ask you what it was, because I want it to be his story to tell. However, I do have one question. Is this son of your family worth the trouble? That's all I want to know," Rain spoke clearly and concisely, raising his standard in the eyes of the Theerpanayakul family. They were extremely impressed by the way Rain spoke, mainly because they were forced to ponder on his question.
