"Love is what burns us. And in you, the flames burn pure and hot."
'See you in Chiang Mai Phi,' was the message that Phayu woke upto a couple of days after the performance at the University, two days after Rain had blown his mind. After he had scolded Rain, Rain had turned the tables on him. He had been mad with jealousy, hating that Rain did not want to go public with their relationship and having to see him being surrounded by his fans and admirers. But what had Rain done? He had rubbed his thumb back and forth on Phayu's lips, igniting something within his soul, a thirst that could not be quenched. He had then stood on tiptoes, brushing his lips on Phayu's, leaving him stunned. But what had shocked him to the core was when Rain had given his lips a soft kitten lick. He had turned hard in an instant, unable to control his body's response to this boy. He was already crazy about Rain, and when Rain did that, it turned Phayu's brain to mush.
"Are you still jealous Phi?" he had whispered into Phayu's ears, his warm breath causing flutters in Phayu's heart and his cock twitched painfully. He nodded, unable to form a word, alarmed at what was happening to him. He was supposed to be the experienced one in the relationship, right? Then why did it feel like Rain was literally luring him in? He was mortally afraid that he would come in his pants like a novice teenager and embarrass himself further. But he wanted to see what Rain would do. Rain leaned even closer, sliding his hands under Phayu's jacket, stroking his hands on his silky shirt, creating a delicious friction on his heated body. Then he wriggled, trying to fit closer into Phayu. By now all coherent thought had left Phayu's brain. All he could see and feel was Rain, his luscious lips, the sexy invitation in his eyes and the way his body cradled the older man's reaction. He saw no fear in Rain as he snuggled into him, not caring who could find them.
"What are you doing Rain?" Phayu asked, his voice raspy with the effort it was taking to control himself. "Well, since you are jealous, I wanted to remind you," he said, his face and voice completely free of guile. "Remind me of what?" Phayu choked out. "That I am yours, and that you are mine," a weird note had entered Rain's voice as he reached up and bit Phayu's lower lip. It was a soft bite, but so unexpected that Phayu was literally thrown off his game. He was further confused when Rain detangled himself and stepped back. The look on Rain's face was thunderous. "Before you get jealous Phi, maybe you should think about what you have done," Rain said. 'Huh!' Phayu was unable to process what had just happened. His face must have given away his bewilderment. "Yesterday, you found time to console P'Jom, but not talk to your 'boyfriend'? What right do you have to be jealous?" he asked, his voice scathingly cutting across Phayu's lust hazed brain.
"Rain..," he began. "Don't you Rain me Phi! Think of what you have done," Rain said, as he turned around and walked away, leaving Phayu totally muddled. How had the tables turned so completely? How had Rain done that? Now he was feeling guilty instead of jealous. A slow smile bloomed on his face as he realised that Rain had been right when he had first told Phayu that he was not naïve. Well, well, if the fire in his eyes had been any indication, he was not very innocent either. He had known exactly what he was doing. Later that evening, he had been sitting in his room and been thinking about what had transpired, now wanting Rain more than ever, when Pai had burst in. "Dude! What the fuck are you doing?" he asked. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"Sky told me that they are going to Chiang Mai the day after tomorrow," he started. "I know that," Phayu said. "But do you know why?" he asked. "It's an annual trip, right? No big deal," Phayu shrugged. "Oh my God! You don't know! I also know because it kind of slipped out of Sky when I was dropping him home," he said. "What the hell are you talking about Ai'Pai?" By now Phayu was irritated. "Apparently, Rain goes to Chiang Mai every year to meet some 'Phi' he met 3 years ago," he said. Phayu swung his legs off the bed, his head unable to wrap around the idea of his Rain going to meet someone else! That was not true, was it? Phayu immediately picked up his phone and called Rain. but the call went unanswered. He tried again, no response. He sent a message on LINE. It went unread. What was Rain doing? Phayu got up and strode to his cupboard.
