1:42 AM"Illy," Dominik murmured into her ear after breaking the kiss, "You're okay."
He was looking at her like she was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen and Illy turned her eyes to the ground.
"I-I don't know," She said softly, fighting back the urge to cry while feeling ashamed of herself.
"Look at me," He said softly, cupping her face in his hands once more, "Tell me how you feel."
"I'm... scared," She admitted, "I-I don't know what to do. I need a break."
He helped her to her feet then, though she kept her gaze glued to the floor.
"Sweetpea," Dominik said and he placed his hands on her hips and turned her towards Attila once more whose expression caused her to shiver involuntarily, "You can always use your word."
Could she?
Illy wasn't so sure Attila would listen if she did. And she was too scared to find out.
This was so wrong.
She was trembling, her whole body on the verge of collapse and she could barely think straight.
Attila was standing in front of her, shirtless, tattoos snaking over every inch of skin, the faintest sliver of a smile playing on his lips as he reached for her face with both hands, the pads of his thumbs grazing her cheeks on the way up.
Illy came to the conclusion that Attila was simply her kryptonite. Despite how twisted he was, how evil, the quiet power radiating from him was intoxicating and coupled with all his other qualities, she has been baited and caught, hook, line and sinker. Rendered powerless to resist.
Dominik was tame in contrast, but she didn't trust him any more than she did a sly fox.
They were in it together, right?
It was just a game to them.
She had to play along. That's all she could do, really.
"Why do you keep trembling?" Attila asked, "Are you thinking about all the things I'll do to you?"
Her breath caught in her throat and she squeezed her eyes shut, lips pressed closed.
"Oh you won't look at me?" He tsked, "Do you hate me now?"
"Yes."
Her throat closed up with a lump of emotion, tears starting to well up in her eyes again, and Illy gulped, realizing she spoke too soon when she opened her eyes and saw the disappointed look on Attila's face.
She shook her head rapidly, her eyes wide, "I-I didn't mean..."
She was so out of her depth, her body trembling, eyes darting between the two of them, and her mind swimming with a cloud of conflicting thoughts and emotions.
