Sirius's Pov
I take a deep breath before getting back to work. The pilled up paper work was getting so tiring. I've been in my office for two days trying to finish everything in time before the ceremony. I take a sip from my coffee and nothing comes out. The adrenaline I had after my fifth coffee was gone.
Knock knock
"Come in." I look up to see my dad walking in with a smile on his face.
"What are you so happy about?" I ask as I continue with work.
"I was just speaking to Mr and Mrs Beckenham-
"Hold it right there." I interrupt. "I'm not marrying Cecelia Beckenham."
"Sirius, you are 33 years old, no mate, no heir or a family of your own. We agreed that if you don't find a mate before the full moon ceremony we are arranging a marriage for you."
"Dad, please." I huff.
"What's wrong with Cecelia? She's a nice girl, one of our top warriors and has great strength. She would make a great Luna for the pack. She's loved by everyone." My dad says.
"Why can't you understand I want my own mate, and fall in love like you and mom." I tell him, frustrated by this situation.
"Son, it doesn't take someone that long to find a mate. You've been to every pack in the state and still haven't found anyone. At this rate your brother might eventually mate before you. Give up, Sirius. At this point I might think she's dead." I sigh giving in. What choice did I have.
"Fine. After the full moon ceremony, I'll mate with Beckenhan's daughter."
"I'm glad you agreed son." He smiles patting my shoulder before leaving my office.
I pinch the bridge of my nose as I leaned back further against my chair. Maybe my father had a point, no one can go this long without mating, it's almost impossible. Although strange enough I know one person who also hasn't found his mate. I get back to finishing the paper work, before getting interrupted by a knock.
Can I not just work in peace right now. I think to myself. I tell the person to come in and there walks in my delta.
"You wouldn't believe who I just saw? Allison." Xeno says as he took a seat.
"Alison?" I look at him with a raised brow indicating I don't know he was talking about.
"Allison Dalton, Dalton's daughter who's been gone for the past eight years." He exclaimed.
"Oh, I still don't know who you talking about. I have work to do, Xeno. Is there anything better you want to talk about?" He takes a deep breath before he answers.
"We checked the boarders, everything is clear to start the preparation for ceremony."
"Have you made contacted with the witch?" I ask.
"She's still in the mountains, she said she'll be here for the ceremony." He says as he stands up about to right. "Before I forget, she says there's something important she needs to tell you."
"What is it about?" I raise a brow.
"I honestly don't know she didn't say much." I nod and he leaves closing the door behind him.
I wondered what she needed to say to me. She only speaks to me when she has a vision. I get up feeling tired from sitting for hours in that hard chair. I leave the house transforming into my wolf as I made my way to the stream. I smell the fresh breeze of the forest, listening to the trees dance because of the wind, the gentle stream making everything sound so peaceful.
I transform into my human form as I enter the water cooling my body down.
"Do you smell that?"
"Calm down, there's nobody here. Stop being paranoid." I tell my wolf. He keeps quiet and doesn't say anything further.
I dive deep down into the water enjoying the cold water filling my heated body. After an hour I decide to get out of the water making my way back to the house to finish the rest of the paper work. A pop of smoke appears in front of me startling me.
"Do you always have to make a grand entrance, Novah?" I don't bother looking up as I knew who it was.
"It wouldn't be fun I didn't do it." She smirked.
"Xeno said you wanted to tell me something important." I raise a brow as I looked at her.
"I had a vision, Alpha Sirius. Something was revealed to me."
"What is it? Speak Novah." I demand getting impatient.
"In the depths of night's embrace, beneath the silver shroud of the moon's gentle caress, a vision unfolds. The path of destiny stretches before you, Alpha Sirius, bathed in the ethereal glow of fate.
Within this tapestry of time, you shall find a mate, a soul woven intricately into the fabric of your existence. Yet, beware, for a shadow, mysterious and unforeseen, shall cast its dark veil upon your intertwined fate.
In the dance of stars and whispers of the night, your destiny unfolds like a riddle, a puzzle unsolved. Seek the hidden truths, for the threads of your life are woven with intrigue, and the answers may elude even the wisest of hearts."
May this vision guide you, Alpha Sirius, on the dark path that awaits, where the secrets of your fate remain cloaked in mystery." With that she disappears leaving me unanswered.
I have no idea what she meant. I transform quickly running back to the pack house to write down what she said. My mind was filled with vision. I will find a mate, made me so happy to hear that. This means my mate wasn't dead, but does this also mean something will happen to her.
"beware, for a shadow, mysterious and unforeseen, shall cast its dark veil upon your intertwined fate."
Intertwined fate? I couldn't seem to understand what she meant. My heart was troubled. What seems to be coming, it seemed like hell is about to break loose.
