Fates Intertwined

Ten

As we arrived to his pack it still was early in the morning. I had just entered a new territory, a unfamiliar place. No one was in sight, except for a few patrollers. Alpha Triton's territory was similar to how my pack was. They lived in a gated community, actually this one was very different from my pack was.

The car slowly approaches the property it was surrounded by high, well-fortified walls with security personnel at the gated entrance ensuring the safety. Which made sense as a pack safety was important. We passed a few houses as I looked out the window we approached a huge house, I was guessing this was Triton's pack house.

It was largest and most impressive residence within the pack, its sheer size and architecture making it a focal point. The architectural style was a blend of modern sophistication with a touch to nature. It featured a combination of sleek, contemporary lines and natural elements such as stone and wood, harmoniously integrated into the design.

The house stood alone. The grounds surrounding the house with meticulously landscaped, with beautifully manicured lawns, gardens, and a cascading waterfall. A prominent flagpole bearing the pack's emblem near the entrance, symbolizing AlphaTriton's leadership. I was really impressed.

Alpha Sirius's house stood as a dominant presence within the pack, easily distinguishable from other homes due to its size. It was exude a mix of classic elegance and practicality. It had a blend of traditional and contemporary elements, combining stone, wood, and large windows to create a harmonious design. It was a beautiful house but not compared to Alpha Tritons.

"Mason, thank you. We'll talk later. Please make sure no one knows about this." Mason nods and leaves the car.

Alpha Triton got out the car and opened the door for me. He took my suitcase and I followed him inside. The entrance would had large, imposing doors flanked by columns leading us into a spacious, awe-inspiring foyer. Upon entering, the foyer had an open into a vast great hall with soaring ceilings and a grand chandelier, creating a sense of opulence. This space showed that it was to serve as a gathering area for pack meetings or special occasions.

"Come, I'll take you to the guest room so you can get some rest. You must be tired." I nod as I followed him upstairs. An awkward silence waved upon us, I didn't know what to say to him.

He points to the room with a plain white door. And I thank him as I entered the room. I didn't bother looking around as I took off my clothes only wearing Alpha's Sirius shirt and threw myself on the bed. I was so exhausted due to lack of sleep, thinking too much and running from my pack back to my apartment. My body had already given up the minute it saw the queen size bed that looked really comfortable. I shut my eyes trying to forget today's event.

I wake up consumed by darkness. I must have slept the whole day. I felt well rested and so famished. I look around confused to where I was and remembered everything that happened this morning. Nervous as I was I decide to leave the room and head downstairs.

I look around and found no one in sight. I get to the kitchen it was a state of the art kitchen with top of the line appliances that was paired with a grand dining room. I make myself comfortable and open the fridge to find something to eat.

"I see you finally awake." A deep voice said behind me making me startled. I turn to look at Alpha Triton who's jaw was clenched as he was staring at me.

I look at him confused and realise that I'm only wearing a shirt. I blush as I looked away from his gaze.

"I was really hungry." I mumble closing the door fridge.

"Please go take a shower. I'll prepare something for you." I felt offended by his words. "You can use my shower, you'll get some a shampoo and everything you need as I didn't prepare the guest room. I nod and run upstairs.

Alpha Triton's bedroom was sumptuous, including a spacious king size bed, walk-in closets, and an opulent en-suite bathroom with a luxurious bathtub and a separate, large shower. I was in love with his shower head, as the warm water ran down my body. I used his shampoo which smelled like him.

"What are we going to do, Allison?" Athena spoke.

"I don't know Athena, I really don't know. I'm stuck." I tell her. She goes quiet and I continue with my shower.

I wrap myself in a towel and dry my hair with another towel before wrapping myself with it. I walk out of Alpha Triton's room to take my clothes from the guest room. I feel good and well rested, all I need is food in my stomach.

"Food is ready for you."

"Uhhh." I let out a small scream as I turn to look at Alpha Triton who gave me a freight. My towel falls on the ground and my eyes widen.

Alpha Triton's looks at me from head to toe. I quickly grab the towel from the floor and rush back in Triton's shutting the door behind me.

"I'm sorry, I thought you were done. I'll wait for you downstairs." I stay silent as I listen to his footsteps slowly fade away.

I open the door to check before quickly rushing back to my room. I wore sweat pants with a black long sleeve shirt and head back downstairs to get some food. I find Alpha Triton sitting at the table with a plate of food sitting right next to him.

I clear my throat as I walked in the dinning and Triton looks up pointing to the seat next to him.  After a few minutes of silence I decide to say something.

"This situation is difficult to understand," I began, my eyes locking with my new mate. "I have a mate."

Alpha Triton looked conflicted. His expression shifted from possessiveness to confusion, and then a hint of sadness.

"I can't deny the bond between us," Triton said, his voice tinged with sorrow. "But I didn't know you were mated to someone else. This complicates things."

He was right, the bond between us was as strong as I felt with Alpha Sirius and it things are really complicated as it is. How were we going to explain to people this situation.

"Who's your other mate? He questioned as he looked at his plate.

I take a deep breath before answering him. "Alpha Sirius."
