Leaving

Azazel's feet glided across the marble floors smoothly. Her dusty sea coloured dress flowed along with her and danced along with her long hair. The soothing piano music was in sync with her feet floating across the white marbles. The smile on her face lit up the room even in the dark evening.

She was happy. Very happy. The giddiness in her chest poured out in the form of her smile and the dancing.

Her eyes were closed and she was lost in her own happiness.

"Ah!" A small yelp escaped from her lips as she crashed against something, rather someone. Her body was slammed against the person's and their hand was around her waist.

"Always so careless." Azazel's eyes shot open at the raspy voice. "Christopher?" She smiled and he smiled back. "What's got you all happy?" Azazel giggled and stepped back, the smile dropped from the boy's face. But Azazel was too engrossed in herself to notice anything around her.

"I am happy. After a long time." Christopher smiled and raised a brow as though to ask why. "Ohhh Chrissy..." She smiled, the giddiness overflowing. "He loves me..." She said, not believing it herself. "What?" Christopher asked cluelessly and she smacked him on his head. "Ow! What was that for?"

"He loves me idiot! He loves me! Tom loves me!" It still sounded foreign to her ears and she smiled at the sound of the words. "Oh.." Christopher's smile dropped for the second time that night and he frowned. "He told you?"

"It was a slip. But it will always be a slip from him."  Azazel said and Christopher frowned deeper. "Azazel, he can't love. It's always obsession with Riddle. Never love." Christopher said, venom dripping from his voice. "No Chris. I saw it. I saw it in his eyes, his smile, that softness in his voice when he said it. It was pure. So pure it brought tears to my eyes." She said, tears welling up in her eyes just thinking about it.

"Did you see him? Where is he? It's been three days and the boy won't even step out of that room!" She rambled on and on to Christopher who was not paying attention to anything she said.

"Christopher!" The boy blinked. "Huh? What?" Azazel face palmed and smacked him again. "What's with you today?" She shook her head and skipped out of the room.

Christopher watched her walk away and clenched his fists. "He doesn't love you Azazel."

"I don't intend on staying here forever." Azazel said and sipped her tea as Adélard tried convincing her to stay and not leave. "But you can! I insist!" He pleaded and she shook her head. "I have stayed way too long. Also, I have recieved a summon from the ministry. They have some questioning to do. I should have seen this coming. Now that everyone knows who I am, everyone wants to know more."

"You can do that from here! Go wherever you want, but come back by the end of the day! I don't care who you are! You are my friend! My sister! So fucking stay!" Azazel smiled softly and placed the tea cup down and held Adélard's hands in hers.

"Listen, brother, I will always come back to you. Always. But, now, I have to leave. So be a good brother and understand, hm?" Adélard shook his head and held her hands tighter. "No! I don't want to be a good brother! Fuck good brothers! You stay!" Azazel laughed and he pouted.

"Did you tell Riddle about this? He will stop you."

"Stop her from what?" Azazel froze and bit her lips to stop the smile forming. She turned to face the boy walking towards them and her breath hitched.
