Having tied up the now once again unconscious V with titanium cable, I walked back over to my suit, put it back on, and walked back over to the crowds of drones, applauding our affords to neutralise the threat of the murder drones.

Thad: "Holy hell Uzi! That was insane! And you too, uh.."

N: "Oh, N, I'm an angsty rebellious disassembly drone now."

"And I'm Nicholas Davidson, a humble mercenary."

Khan Doorman then made his way through the crowd, stopping once Uzi saw him. Uzi then began to speak.

Uzi: "...I led the murder drones here accidentally. You chose to leave me for dead, instead of just fucking believing in me! And that's not even an edgy teen hyperbole like when I said it last week!"

Uzi then stopped crying, slapped herself in the face to get herself together, and continued.

Uzi: "...I'll save you the trouble, dad. I banish myself! Let's go guys, everyone here can bite me!"

Uzi and N then flew through the roof, and I heard Uzi talk to me through the radio.

Uzi: "Rick, can you please bring V back to the Spire once you're done? I'm not going back there for a while."

"Sure thing Uzi."

I then turned towards Khan and spoke, my voice low and intense.

"Khan Doorman, you are a false hero, a betrayer, and a disappointment. You are not fit to be Uzi's father, as she is an amazing young woman with ideas that could've helped the colony, but you, ALL, of you, called her a freak, weirdo, and a disgrace.

If you truly believe she's one, I believe every single one of you should take a long hard look in the mirror if you want to see a true disgrace."

I picked up V, walked up to Khan until I was standing only a few inches away, my height towering over his, and spoke once again.

"This is why I hate parents."

I then turned and left, with V hanging over my shoulder. As I left the compound and walked through the icy wasteland towards the Spire, V decided to try and converse with me.

V: "Soooooo...."

"Stop talking."

V: "What? I'm trying to talk to you without killing you, human!"

"And I don't give a flying fuck. Stop talking before I rip your jaw off."

V: "Ha, you wouldn't."

I then stopped, took V off my back and held her out in front of me.

"Serial Designation V, I actually do have a question."

V: "Oh really? Try me, human!"

"Why do I recognise you?"

V: "Err, we fought a little bit after you landed?"

"No, I have heard your name before, long before I ever came to Copper 9. However, I can't remember where."

V: "I.... See..."

I sighed, placed her on the ground, and took off my helmet, before picking her back up and holding her in front of me.

"Do you recognise me? Or am I just delusional after hitting my head when I crashed?"

V: "A, if you hit your head, I'm quite sure the object was more dented and damaged than you were. B, I don't think I recognise you... But I'm not sure."
