Rex, the unattractive, bland, and unnoticeable Knight, and the Valkyries

Kiana Kaslana felt proud. She finished several missions in a row successfully and she found Mei! She truly was the best Valkyrie Ever!!!

"Ugh, he looks ugly," Hearing the voices, Kiana raised a brow as she looked at the girls and took a peek. The scarred right side of his face made him less attractive compared to his brothers but his dark brown eyes looked around. 

Wait! Who is that girl he was talking to?! 

"Kiana-Chan?" Mei's voice failed to calm her down as Kiana crouched behind the sliding door and peeked to look at her childhood friend as he talked with the shorter girl. Wait! That's the smart girl that talked to her before! 

Does Rex like smart girls?! 

"What are you doing?" Himeko's voice made Kiana jump and...

"No way!" Some of the admirers of the smart girl whispered as she and Rex looked at them. Fu Hua and Rex looked a lot like each other, save for the hairstyle, hair, and eye color, as well as the scar on Rex's face. 

Rex looked like a male version of Fu Hua. 

"Kiana?" Rex asked, looking at his friend. 

"Who is she?" Kiana asked with a sweet smile, but Rex being the crazy baby chicken he is, did not feel anything wrong. 

"Oh, right. Kiana, this is Fu Hua Cruz. She's a relative of mine," Rex said, introducing Fu Hua. In an instant, the hostility Kiana gave out was replaced by embarrassment. 

"Impossible! No one as ugly as you can't be related to Fu Hua-Senpai!" A random girl shouted with a glare aimed at the boy.

Fu Hua, who was protective of her beloved descendants was the first one to react. Her calm demeanor was replaced by a cold one while looking at the girls focusing on Kiana. She was a bit dumb but she had her heart in the right place and she was the daughter of her friend. But no one said anything as an aura of danger flared from Kiana, causing the very air to become cold. Her once embarrassed facade was now replaced by a stoic one as cheerful blue became ice cold. 

'He means that much to her?' Fu Hua thought, remembering her late husband, Ren Cruz, and how he acted like Kiana. An idiot. Feeling a buzz, Fu Hua raised a brow as she took her phone out. Even now, she can still feel her husband replying. 

on her phone, a text message from Ren can be seen saying: Stop killing me off in your monologues!

Kiana turned around and gave the girl a cold stare, one that made Mei and Bronya shiver. They knew how cheerful Kiana could be. To see her like this. 

With each step, the air got colder. 

"Hey, it's fine," Rex's soft voice and the gentle yet calloused hand that patted her head immediately returned the temperature to normal. 

"But,"

 "Shh, besides... this ugly mug saved my hide," Rex said, referring to his scarred face. Kiana, knowing Rex won't budge, sighed and looked at the girl with a frown. "Come on, I'll treat you to the cafe," 

Kiana said nothing as she looked at Rex and traced his scar. After all, he got it while protecting her.

Elysia Apocalypse stretched lightly as she got up from her nap. It was a beautiful day of work and her idol training was... Wait! Why was Rein in the Studio?! 

"Morning," Reinhardt greeted with a soft smile in front of her. Dressed in a three-piece suit, with the blazer around her like a blanket. 

"Why are you..." 

"You did not come to the house last night, I got worried," Reinhardt said as he lowered his clipboard. 

"Well, I was busy with idol training," Elysia said with a smile. "Did you come from a meeting?" 

"Yeah, but it finished early," Reinhardt said as he looked at her. 

"He didn't" Rin popped in. "Boss ran here once he found out you were here!" 

"Rin!" Reinhardt shouted at his student who stuck her tongue out. Now she was surprised. He never canceled everything when Kallen and Sakura went missing... or did he? Ahh! Why was this stupid and cute man so confusing? 

"Hmm, not gonna simp for Kallen?" Elysia teased with a smile as she stretched on the couch, teasing him, but it backfired when she saw him focus on her. 

"Well, I have you," 

"Am I your second choice?" Elysia teased as she looked at him. Having enough, Elysia gently carried his blazer. "Bad Rein~," Elysia said as she poked his cheek. "I won't settle for second place," Elysia whispered as she leaned in. Seeing him do the same made her blush but it was her chance now! She leaned in and when she was close enough. 

"Rein!" Kallen Kaslana blasted the door open and froze as the trio looked at each other... Seeing an opportunity, Elysia stole a kiss near Rein's lips.

In a cafe,

Reve blinked as he lowered his cup of coffee. The young man knew his brother had done something stupid again. 

"How is it?" Hearing Rita's voice, Reve smiled at his friend and personal maid. He always wondered why Otto assigned Rita to him. But it was for the best. 

"It's great," Rita smiled at this as she sat in front of him, taking the plate with a shortcake and eating a small piece. Seeing Rita gush at the taste, Reve smiled, unaware of how a blush appeared on Rita's face. 

"Say... Rex won a pair of tickets," An image of Rex giving him a thumbs-up appeared in Reve's mind. "A pair of tickets to a hot springs resort, do you want to go with me?" 

"Ara Ara," Rita whispered with a smile. "How bold of you, Master Reve. Do you truly wish to have me for yourself that you would trick your poor little brother?" Rita teased with a smile as she offered him a small piece of the cake on the fork. "But yes, I accept." 

Rita smiled as she noticed the relieved expression on Reve's face. 

"But~ I want you to help me pick out a swimsuit for the next beach outing,"
