Rex Crozzo sighed as he looked at the empty house. His brothers were out on a mission, he would have gone out too if he wasn't a civilian. Yes, you heard that right, he is a civilian. His older brothers forbade him from training to fight except for self-defense.

Sighing to himself, the youngest Crozzo put on a cap to head to his part-time job. A fry-cook in a humble diner, a way to independence and to gain money in case he moved out. He loves his brothers but he hated how they didn't let him train to fight. Hell, Rin, a girl younger than him gets trained to fight!

Or maybe he's too useless even to train.

"Morning..." He greeted his co-workers before heading to the changing area and putting on his uniform for another day of part-time jobs. The grill's heat didn't bother him a single bit, no matter how hot it became.

"Morning, welcome to WcDonald's" he greeted as he looked at the customers for the day. He'll be all alone in the estate again for a while, so might as well get more hours.

"Hey! Can I get three big WCs!"

"Anything else?" Rex asked the white-haired girl in front of him. He didn't care why her hair was white only that she paid. That uniform... St. Freya, huh?

"Ooh! Can I also get large fries to go with that and those Happy Meal toys?"

"Sure." Punching her order on the counter, Rex took the money gave her her change, and handed her one of those number thingies. "Have a Wcderful day,"

"Thanks! You too!"

'that was new,' he thought to himself as he spent the rest of his shift either cooking or manning the counter. After his shift, the youngest Crozzo went to the back of the building and chewed on the filtered end of a cigar before lighting it and looking at the night sky. "Convenience food it is," he whispered before looking at his now empty cigar before crushing it on an ashtray.

Another soul-crushing day of part-time work. Entering the convenience store, the youngest Crozzo looked at his wallet and sighed before buying some biscuits for his dinner instead. His brothers gave him an allowance each month but he did not want it... He had his pride...

Sighing to himself as he entered the empty house, the youngest Crozzo entered his room and started eating while watching a reality show with lifeless eyes... Life sucks. After an hour or two, the youngest Crozzo crawled onto his bed and curled under the covers.

The next day, Rex woke up and sighed before cleaning the house and heading out for a bit run. He no longer has any passion to protect or help anyone. He passed by a woman getting ganged up on and said nothing. 'not my problem,' he thought to himself as he jogged away without a care in the world. He lost his passion for music and other things, only spending the rest of his days playing video games, exercising, and work.

Arriving at his home, the youngest Crozzo looked at the things around him and sighed. He locked himself out of the Crozzo armory when he was younger after getting angry at his brothers and he can't buy another bow for a few more months at least.

Another day, another soul-crushing experience. Rex sighed while falling on the floor of the living room of his house on his back.

"I wonder how my life will be if my brothers let me train and fight with them."

Rex sighed as he stood up and went to his room for another day of grinding on an MMORPG.

Arriving at work, Rex sighed as he stayed on the grill. "Smoke break." He told his co-workers, noticing the same girl from last night with some more people before he left. Sitting on the stairs and leaning on the wall, the youngest Crozzo inhaled some smoke before blowing it out.

Another day at a soul-crushing life. "Hey, punk. Give us your money." Sighing at this, Rex reached for his wallet and handed it to them. Not like he can win against these guys. "Good choice, you gay-ass wimp."

Saying nothing as the stickiness of cola ran from his head... While the thugs walked away, he sighed. "Damn it... Well, half a year more of part-time wage..." He said before crushing the cigar with his foot.

"Hey- what happened?!"

"It's fine... I'll just wipe it off." He said to his co-worker before heading back to the. Kitchen.

After his work and with a bloody nose, Rex entered the house, holding his wallet with a slight limp. He was all alone again but it's fine. He's used to it.

Rex sighed as he popped open a beer and chugged it in one go before booting up his PC and playing the night away.
