Turquoise stood in the kitchen, having just woken up
"Morning," Garnet nodded
"You're up early," Turquoise smiled
"Got to get my Morning workout in." Garnet smiled back and walked into the kitchen
"Oh?" Turquoise passes the kettle to Garnet
"Boxing, you fight?" Garnet asks, holding Turquoise's hand with the scared knuckles
"Only when I have to," Turquoise takes his hand back
Turquoise sat down on one of the raised chairs and sturs his coffee
"Where's Peridot?" Garnet asks, leaning against the counter
"Still fast asleep," Turquoise chuckles. "You know she drools, could have used that warning," Turquoise rubs his shoulder where a big drools mark is on his shirt
"Couldn't have predicted that I'm afraid," Garnet winks
Peridot is stood in the doorway looking absolutely bedraggled their hair all a mess and they're eyes barely open wearing Turquoise's hoodie
"Morning P." Garnet nods
"Hmmmmm?" Peridot groans and just walks into the kitchen and hugs Turquoise from behind, resting their head on his back
"Hey you, didn't expect you up for a good while," Turquoise laughs and rubs the back of Peridot's hand
"Mhmmm?" Peridot groans into Turquoise back
"Coffee?"
Garnet pours a cup of coffee for Peridot, Turquoise pulls a seat out next to him for Peridot, which they sit in
"Wow. Thanks." Peridot, still half asleep, takes the mug of freshly coffee
"Milk?" Peridot raises an eyebrow looking at the mug of black murky coffee
Turquoise takes note of the question and quickly walks to the fridge and slides a carton of almond milk across the counter
"You're welcome." Turquoise shuts the fridge
"How chivalrous?" Pearl laughs a little, leaning against the doorframe
"Just manners," Turquoise smiles at Pearl
Pearl joins Turquoise, Peridot, and Garnet at the table
"So what are your plans for the day?" Pearl asks Peridot as their head slams into the counter.
"I think ya killed em" Garnet chuckles as Peridot raises their head
"I have a gig later tonight." Turquoise says dismissively
"Well, I've got to drop Steven off with his dad before I head to work
"I've got training till noon, so I'll pick him up." Garnet offers
Turquoise kisses the side of Peridot's head as he walks out. "See ya later."
Garnet and Pearl look at Peridot as Peridot's face goes completely red with blush.
Turquoise stands in his room, fixing his jacket
"Ugh, now about these scars." Turquoise says to himself as he pulls a make-up bag out of his bag
Turquoise begins covering his scars with a skintone like foundation when he sees Amethyst in the corner of his eye
"Morning?" Turquoise asks his face half covered with makeup
"You're doing that wrong, yknow." Amethyst raises an eyebrow
"I am?"
"I'm just messing with ya. What ARE you doing?" Amethyst laughs
"I have a gig later, so I'm covering my scars before practice." Turquoise explains
"And the eye?" Amethyst raises an eyebrow
"I have a contact lense."
"Right... has P seen you?" Amethyst asks
"They're downstairs." Turquoise says, putting his contact lenses in
"No. I mean like that!" Amethyst says
"Ugh, I hate that... and no" Turquoise blinks a lot to fix the position of the lens
"Maybe you should show em" Amethyst shrugs
Turquoise thinks for a minute before heading downstairs, followed by Amethyst
"Whoa, P. Look, Garnet nudges Peridot
Peridot looked up at Turquoise, confused bit squints, noticing he had covered his scars
"What the...?" Peridot says quietly, standing up
"You'll need these," Garnet passes. Peridot their glasses
Peridot quickly puts their glasses on
"Whatdya think?" Turquoise asks, walking into the kitchen
Peridot takes a moment studying Turquoise covered face with a sour look
"Nope." Peridot licks her thumb and starts rubbing Turquoise's face
"Hey, hey, hey, I have to do this for the crowd," Turquoise stops Peridot from whipping the rest of his makeup off
"Ugh, fine," Peridot grumps
"I'll be back later," Turquoise smiles
Turquoise grabs his guitar case from the bottom of the stairs and heads out the door
Everyone looks at Peridot with a teasingly look
"Don't start..." Peridot rubs their arm embarrassed
Amethyst whistles at Peridot
Garnet pats Peridot's back
"Ugh, you guys are so embarrassing..." Peridot blushes more
"What are friends for?" Pearl smiles as Greg opens the door
"Mornin!"
"Steven's still asleep, but I'll pour you a cup of coffee." Garnet smiles
"Please," Greg rubs the back of his head
Pearl heads upstairs
"Who's the new guy? I met him out front. He seems like a nice chap," Greg asks
"Oh, that's Turquoise," Garnet says as she pours Greg a cup of coffee
"P.dot's boyfriend," Amethyst says teasingly
"Please, we went on one date and had a long nap together. I'd barely call him boyfriend." Peridot says dismissively
"Mhmm, and what was him kissing the side of your head about?" Garnet asks with a raised eyebrow, and a teasingly look
"Crap, I guess we are..." Peridot says quietly
"So all good?" Greg asks
"Yeah... good." Peridot sips her coffee embarrassed
Turquoise stands in front of a large building holding his guitar case.
"Early as per usual." A voice says to Turquoise
"Skinny, Carnelian." Turquoise nods to his bandmates
"We ready to get this show on the road?" Carnelian asks
"Please, we gotta practice first," Skinny shoves Carnelian
"You two are so annoying." Turquoise says to himself
"Where's lars?" Turquoise asks
"Probably late as per usual." Carnelian shrugs
"I'm gonna kill him one day..." Turquoise says to himself before heading into the building.
