(Alyssa and Seungmin's outfits in mm)
Eng in bold.

The next morning the guys wanted to go out to the pier and walk around downtown. Despite my brain screaming at me not to I took them. We are currently grabbing cinnamon rolls so we could eat them on the beach.

When I lived here I felt like I was in a cage. I mean, even before him, I felt like I was trapped. He gave me a taste of freedom then locked me back in the cage. I guess that's how it felt to me. And I wasn't mature enough to understand that I shouldn't let that bother me. But instead I threw a tantrum and made a bunch of people hate me. I didn't really date after that. I just kinda led people on. I would act interested then one day slam the door in their face. My only excuse was that I was dealing with my emotions in an unhealthy way. But still, that doesn't make up for the lack of empathy I had for others. Of course everyone didn't hate me. I still had a lot of really good friends.

The moment I step out side I almost drop the boxes I was carrying. I wanted to instantly turn around and run, but of course, I didn't.

"Alyssa?" The blonde boy says with a smile.

"Hey Thomas." I smile back weakly. I look to the other boy next to him. He was the first victim.

"And Erin." I wave to him holding the boxes with one arm. The reason why I was holding so many was because the guys were playing the arcade games that were inside while they were waiting for Bin and Felix to finish ordering.

"H-hi." He says staring at me in shock. "I hear you left to Korea." He awkwardly scratches the back of his neck.

"Yea. I'm in a kpop group now." I smile awkwardly. When I left, I left with no explanation. I was at school one day and didn't come the next. Nobody heard from me after that.

"Stray kids? Yea we know. You guys are really popular around here, mainly because of you, Alyssa." Thomas says with a tone of, I don't know, maybe resentment? Anger? I can't tell. Thomas and I were good friends. Well not really towards the end of my days here. He was my best friends ex but he was my friend before that. I guess when he broke up with her I stopped talking to him.

"Why did you not say anything? So many people thought you were dead."

The fake smile on my face falls. "Dead?"

"Yea. You just became a ghost. All the kids in the school wouldn't shut up about you. And it hurt a lot back then because I-" whatever he was gonna say got interrupted when seungmin came over and back hugged me. Placing his lips on my neck.

"Baby who's this?" He asks referring to the two in front of us. We spoke in Korean getting confused looks from the two boys.

"Oh this is Thomas and Erin. Old friends of mine." I squeezed his hand to let him know I appreciated his comfort.

He smiled up at them and reached his hand out for them to shake.

"Hi I'm Seungmin her boyfriend." Erin's expression was unreadable as he shook Seungmin's hand. But Thomas's was clear. He was annoyed.

"Oh you tamed her. Surprising. I never thought she would settle down." He says with a fake friendly tone.

"Tamed her? She's not an animal." Seungmin says returning the fake tone.

"Your girlfriend was wild back then. She hurt so many people. This one included. Talked to him for months and then told him she 'lost interest' or whatever." He pushed Erin a little.

"When I met her she was definitely not the girl your talking about. People grow up. She went through so much more than what you saw. So I would stop assuming the worst in people."

Thomas stayed silent. He just kept his gaze on Seungmin's arms around my waist. Not bothering to say another word.

The rest of the guys finally walk out of the building. Coming over to where me and Seungmin were.

"Who's this?" Hyunjin asks.

"One is an old friend of hers and the other is just a dick."

Seungmin's replies. The others all heard it.

"The blonde one?" Minho asks.

"Yea."

"Ohh okay."

"We should get going." I say looking at the guys. They nod their heads.

I wave goodbye to the two who were still standing silent in front of us and walk past them making our way to the pier.

"He likes you." Seungmin says squeezing my hand tighter.

"No way. He dated my best friend. And it's been seven years since I last saw him."

"You said it yourself Alyssa. Things in this town don't change."

The more I think about it, the more I believe what he is saying is true. Why did people saying I was dead hurt him? I cut ties with him after his breakup.

"I guess you could be right." I shrug. I don't wanna talk about that anymore. I wanna have a good time with my members, and make new memories here. Not bring back up old ones.

Seungmin brings his lips to mine for a fast deep kiss. "Your mine though. I don't share."

I laugh. "Seungmin I would never. Especially with him. Or anyone. Your the only one for me."

"That's what I like to hear baby." He smiles pulling me into the sand. The guys and I find a good spot to sit and eat our cinnamon rolls.

Eventually we ended up playing tag. Running around the beach.

I was running from Ji and ended up escaping him by going under the pier dipping my feet in the water. He refused to go in the water because it was too cold.

"Haha loser!" I yell taunting him. He just rolls his eyes and tags seungmin. Who runs to me instantly.

He picks me up and pins me against one of the pillars holding up the pier.

He kissed me quickly. "Tag."

"This is unfair. I can't even run." I roll my eyes. "Put me down im gonna get Chan."

"Chan run!" He yells letting me go.

"Fuck you." I laugh chasing after Chan.
