I couldn't wait to tell mom after I found out I had passed the final I would walk the stage June 1st. I walked out the back door to the results in my hand. Got my phone out of the car and dialed moms number. I was going to tell them all at the same time, so I didn't have to repeat myself over and over. She picked up on the second ring.

Hey are you busy? I asked.

Nope, what's up Avery? She said.

I have my results do you wanna know? I replied.

Well yeah she said as my friends were waving their hands in excitement.

I will walk the stage with the seniors in June. Mom I passed. I'm going to graduate. I told her.

Congratulations Avery. I'm so proud of you and I love you so much. She replied and I could tell she was crying.

Love you too mom. I'll come by later tonight and we can tell dad. I said.

Sounds like a plan. She told me. I hung up the phone as Zen walked out of the building with her papers in hand. She is way smarter than me, so I knew for a fact she had passed.

WELL. I yelled across the parking lot.

I am graduating with you in June. She replied as she ran up to me and hugged my neck.

I knew you would pass. I told her.

Add faith in you to Avery. She replied.

This calls for a celebration. Let's hit the water and have an over-the-top dinner and a few drink. When do you have to come back? Mitchell said.

We have to be back for graduation that's it. Zen replied.

Oh wow so y'all are out for summer now. Tay said.

Yes Sir we are I told him.

Good! He replied as we poured in the cars and took off to the beach area at the mountain park. I'm glad we packed bags before school something told me we wouldn't be back home for a while. The afternoon was fantastic and quiet period we didn't get back to the house till after 10:00 PM the food was awesome, and I am really glad we found an all-night Mexican buffet. The house was still when we got there almost eerie. Taylor looks at Mitchell And we slowed down 2A roll As the lights hit the woods a homemade flag was stuck in the ground that simply said, WAR IS COMING. I knew something was wrong I've had a feeling in my gut since dark hit the question is where is Everybody.

Mitchell we're in for a rest summer and I knew something was wrong we need to find out where everybody is now. I told him.

I agree be in fast these dumb asses may still be around here watching what we are doing. Tay replied.

I'm going to pull up to the porch and we will all get out the passenger side of the car just in case. No one is getting shot tonight. Call the landline and see if anyone answers. Mitchell said and I dialed the number. A very low tone Tyson answered after the third ring.

What does it look like inside? I asked.

There is someone in the basement with no one in the main house. Tyson said.

OK, I got you buddy hang in we are coming. We are right outside. I told him.

Be careful I have no clue how many there are." He said and I hung up the phone turning around to look at Mitchell.

There is someone, don't know how many but they're in the basement. I told them.

And I will go around back and grab a few guys out of the other cars. The rest of you will go inside and check every room and every person. If this is war, things are gonna get tricky fast. Mitchell said.
