The Calm and The War.

Every day went by faster than the other. Our anniversary was amazing. He got me a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers and roses, a blue stone bracelet and necklace with our initials on it and a shirt that said my Princess. Then my birthday on the nineteenth I was completely spoiled. The girls took me out and we got our nails and hair done. We took a trip to the spa to relax. The guys took me out to eat and to a local bands show. Mitchell gave me a set of books I've been trying to find for months, a new purse and some winter clothes. I got a card for mom and dad and his parents ordered us a new bed that hung from the ceiling by chains. It's Christmas Day and our crew is back together again all of us just like old times and it felt so good to see everyone. Everyone has stories to tell about their own attacks and what they had done to retaliate. I couldn't believe some of what I was hearing.

Avery! What's up baby girl? I have missed you. Anglin said she walked in.

Holy shit you came. I have missed you too. I said and I told her everything that had happened and showed her all of my new stuff. She gave me my late birthday present which was a plaque that said Best Sister Ever with a picture of holding hands. She met Jace and jazzy and I told her I adopted Tyson and Brady with Mitchell Tay and Katie. She was surprised but happy for us. I saw Jax out of the corner of my eye and he pulled Mitchell off to the side and they talked for a minute and looked at me the whole time, something is up and I wanna know what it is.

Excuse me a minute please. I told Ang and Robin as I walked over to where they were just talking.

What is going on? What are you two up to? I asked.

I need to talk to you. Mitchell said.

Okay I said we walked outside alone.

First, they put a hit out on me tonight. We just found out. Second oh God, Jax wants have a threesome. He trust you and he asked me about a week ago, him I wasn't keen on sharing. I don't know about you. Mitchell said.

I knew you would say that Avery, I told him I would run it. We need to be young while we can so to speak, so if you have any wild thoughts we need to get and out before we get married I'm just saying.. Mitchell said.

I've never done anything like that. I trust you both but Mitchell with the feelings he has I don't think it would be a good idea. I stated.

That's fine. I will let him know. He's told me.

Now, why is there a hit out on you and what the hell does it entail. I asked.

They simply want me dead by February. I'm not sure the details but one of our outside informants let me know. He told me.

We will stand strong and take it one day at a time. It is only hearsay so far unless they make a move we don't need to attack. I said.

People need to know. He replied.

Tell them tomorrow damn it. It's Christmas. I said. He shook his head and went to find Jax. I can't even believe he would ask me for that shit. What in the hell is he thinking and right then it dawned on me he is preparing us for his death? No, he isn't going to die. They aren't crazy enough to hit like that. Are they? I've heard turf wars can get bad but murder they don't have that in them. I'll let the thought roll off my back and made my way back over to Anglin, Katie Robin and jazzy.
