Springing out of bed I run to the bathroom to shower. I can't believe she agreed to go to lunch with me. I feel like a teenager again. After I wash and get out walking to the room I take my time picking out what suit I want to wear.

Should I wear a suit?

Maybe something casual is better. I pull out a pair of black jeans with a white polo shirt putting them on looking in the mirror.

Nope.

I'm wearing a suit. I throw my clothes off and put on my favorite black suit pairing it with my favorite black dress shoes. Dressed and excited as hell I make my way out of my house seeing Drake waiting for me by my car with the door open.

"You look good sir" he winks.

"Thank you Drake, I've got a hot date today" I smile back.

Hopping in the car I tell him to drive to Liz's condo and he gives me a wary look. Probably wondering why I have a hot date at Liz's place.

Sitting back in the seat I think about everything I learned about Mahara last night. I know I told myself I would keep my mind off her but I couldn't help it.

I had a full background check ran on her and her family. Mahara Jane Marshall, 18 years old, born to Neveah and Earl Marshall on the 29th of April in 2004. She has two older brothers, Caleb and Jacob, and a younger brother Lennon. She was raised in Forked Deer Trailer Park, in Frog Jump Tennessee.
Which has to be the most hillbilly shit I've ever heard of.

She had perfect grades and attendance all the way up until she graduated high school with a 4.2 GPA, earning her a scholarship to the University of Miami for their Biology program. One thing about her background check that didn't sit right with me was the amount of times she was admitted into the hospital for broken bones. All the records state that she claimed they were all from accidents from being clumsy, so no police reports were ever made, but when I think of Mahara last night even while drunk she moved effortlessly.

Something there doesn't make since and I'm going to find out what it is.
Thinking about anyone hurting her makes me fist my hands wanting to make them pay.

I feel like I'm going crazy. I've never been hung up on any woman before so why now? We barely have talked, we haven't had sex. Hell! We haven't even kissed yet. So why the hell am I so infatuated with her.

Yes, she's beautiful, smart, hardworking, but those aren't uncommon traits.

I pinch the bridge of nose while trying to figure out what the hell is going on in my brain right now. The car comes to a stop outside of Liz's condo, I step out of the car waiting for Mahara to come down.

Pulling out my phone texting her that I'm here.

Minutes later she strolls out of the building making her way to me, and I can't help but to smile happily. She looks beautiful with her white cami dress, silver Tie Leg high heels, and long brown hair flowing down her back. I feel my heart skip a beat.

"Hi" she says with a smile.

"Hi to you.You look beautiful" I say kissing her in the cheek making her blush.

"You look very handsome yourself. So where are we going? I probably should've asked before I got dressed but I feel like this outfit pairs well with most occasions" she's nervous talking. I chuckle at her grabbing her hand gliding her into the car. Drake is standing outside by the car's driver door glaring at me.

"Um, sir? Do you think this is a good idea?"

Stepping beside him putting my hand on the handle "Drake, you're like family to me, but stay out of this. I mean it Drake" Emphasizing every word before opening the door sliding next to my girl.
