Surprise!

Idina POV:

I thrust open the door and standing there was a petite blonde, with her iconic curls and a beautiful yellow sundress on. I also recognized a small boy with curly brown hair sitting watching TV and half asleep.

"Hi Idina! How was work today?" Kristin asked.

"Good Kris, but why is Walker still up?" I said trying to hold in my frustration.

"Oh, he wanted to wait for you! Isn't that sweet!" she said obviously recognizing I was mad.

"Kris," unable to control my anger and frustration, "You stay here I will put Walker to bed," I walked to Walker's room. I come back in a few minutes. When I come back I make us coffee and come to sit with Kristin on the couch.

"Hi Dee, look I'm sorry about Walker, I thought that would make you happy if he was awake when you get home"

"It's OK Kristin it's just that never mind" I gave up. It was almost midnight, so I suggested "Kris do you want to stay the night?"

"Sure," she said while yawning. We walked to bed and went to sleep.
