Uzi had been staying with me for about a week now and it was really nice to have some company. She was my roommate and I loved spending time with her. Tomioka would also come round to hang out after I showed him how fun it was with her. I felt like she was my little sister. I didn't care how dangerous she was. She needed help so I gave it to her.

One day when I came back from my mission. She wasn't there at the door to greet me. I looked around my whole apartment for her but she was nowhere to be seen. I was frantically running around, shouting for her. Saying I was worried was an understatement. She never left my apartment unless I was with her.

I went to check at Tomioka's place to see if he knew where she was. But he didn't. Just like me, he had absolutely no idea but he promised to help me find her.
"Why don't we ask Ranpo?" He suggested.
I gave him a quick nod before we ran back to the Agency.

"Ranpo!" I shouted bursting through the door, "I need a favour!"

Me, Ranpo and Tomioka sat down at a table. Me and Tomioka on one side and Ranpo sat opposite.
"So you can't find Uzi and want me to find her?"
"Please!" I begged him.
"What's in it for me?"

I smirked a tiny bit before pulling a bag of sweets and a ramune out of a cupboard. I held them up to Ranpo's face.
"Help us find her and they are all yours."
Ranpo sat thinking for a few seconds.
"You've got yourself a deal!"

Ranpo grinned pulling out a small map of Yokohama and his glasses from his pocket. He placed the map on the table before unfolding the handles on his glasses. Then he put them on.
"Hmmm..." He thought pointing to the map, "I don't think that's good. Either she hated you or she got kidnapped. Either way at the Mafia she will probably be killed."
"For God's sake," I complained, "I don't wanna be stabbed again. Plus am I going to have to go on my own since I was, the only one who wanted her to stay?"
"Not the only one." I heard called out from behind me, "I think you're forgetting me."

Dazai stood behind me smiling with his hand on the back of my chair. He pulled up his own chair and sat down.
"He might have not told you but Atsushi also wanted Uzi to be able to stay. And Kyoka."
"What are you trying to say?" Tomioka questioned.
"That Yamai won't have to go alone. There will be at least three other people. That's enough right?"
"I don't know I have a slight feeling that only Atsushi and Kyoka will be any use," I panicked.
"Wow. Rude," Dazai scoffed.
"I'm sorry but you aren't really combat suited are you."
"Still rude."

We all sat at the table, planning out what we were going to do. Kunikida was getting irritable about the fact we weren't doing the work we should have been doing and instead planning how to get Uzi, someone no one wanted, back.
"Well no doubt she'll probably be executed so I reckon she'll be with at least one executive. I know who I hope it's not," Dazai suggested.
"Ah yes," I thought smiling.
"I'm not sure if I missed something but what do you mean by 'I know who I hope it's not'?" Tomioka asked.
"Chuuya," Me, Dazai and Ranpo all said at the same time.
"What are you all even talking about that's more important than working?" Kunikida snapped.
"Talking about how to get Uz-"
"Anything is more important than work," Dazai interrupted, smiling. "Or anything is more fun I suppose."
"What was Yamai going to say before you carelessly interrupted her?"
"I don't know. I'm not a psychic Kunikida."
I let out a deep sigh. "We're planning on how to get Uzi back from the Port Mafia."

Kunikida looked at me like I had just said something that made no sense at all. Somehow he managed to look both confused and disappointed at the same time.
"Did I say something wrong?" I looked concerned to Ranpo and he just shrugged taking a sip from his ramune that I had bribed him with earlier.
"Well I think our plan is pretty solid," Dazai quickly changed the subject, "Should I go and get Atsushi and Kyoka?"
"Oh! yeah," I nodded.

When Dazai came back with Atsushi and Kyoka following closely behind. Me and Tomioka stood up.
"Ranpo are you sure you don't want to go?"
"I'd rather not die, thanks."
"Am I going to die?" Tomioka began to panic.
"Nah! Don't worry about anything Ranpo says. He's just being over dramatic," I shot him a quick dirty look.
"What did I do!?"

When we started to walk towards the door, Kunikida showed up behind us.
"So it's just the five of you going?"
"Yes. That is correct," Kyoka replied.
"And you're sure you don't need any backup or anything?"
"Oh what's this? Kunikida worrying about me?" Dazai mocked.
"It's you as a group not you in specific you idiot!"
"No I think we should be fine. After all we've got Kyoka and Atsushi and they are very very strong," I smiled, ruffling both of their hairs. "I suppose this is bye for now then. We'll see you when we get back with Uzi!"

I gave everyone in the office a quick wave before the five of us stepped out the door.
"Let's do this then!" Dazai smirked as we walked down the hall and out onto the street.
