I yawned as I sat up. Yesterday hadn't gone to plan, especially not for Sigma's first mission. To be honest, I felt bad for letting him come with me. If I had been more careful, I would have been able to tell something was off.

Whoops! Here I go blaming myself for literally everything even if it's not my fault! Ranpo told me I need to stop doing this but I'm always going to be partially to blame. No matter the situation, there will never be anything that's not my fault.

I walked out of Miss Yosano's office to see Tetchou and Jouno sat down in the main office.
"Man they really chose the wrong day to come around... huh?"

I looked to my side to see Sigma looking like he was trying to hide from someone. He was trying to look into the office aswell but was pretty obvious where he was 'hiding'.

"Sigma."

He jumped when I called out to him. When he noticed me, he put his finger infront of his mouth as to try shush me. I could just about overhear Jouno and Tetchou talking in the other room.

"So that's how it is?" Jouno laughed.
"Yeah and she won't stop pestering me."
"It's not my fault it smells so good!"

I couldn't recognise the last voice. I knew the first two where Tetchou and Jouno but the third? I had no idea.

I saw a woman sat on a desk opposite to Tetchou and Jouno. She looked over to me and smiled. I was confused until I realised she was looking at the strand of purple hair poking out of the doorway.
"Hey Sigma!" She called out, "Come over here will you?"

Sigma shuddered and slowly peaked around the corner.
"H..hey. Long time no see..?" His voice wavered. Whoever this woman was, she knew Sigma.

He slowly walked over to her, looking really nervous. She seemed really happy about seeing him. Sigma not so much.

"Sigma who is this?"
"Yo. I'm Meiko!"
"And I wish you never showed up here."
"What? You would rather I just left you there for dead? In an alley where no one would find you?"
"Now you're being ultra threatening!" I pointed out.

Sigma clearly didn't like Meiko but Meiko liked Sigma. She had long, lilac hair tied into a ponytail at the back. Her canines were pointier and longer than mine. Almost like fangs.

"So what's your deal?" I asked, curious about who she really was.
"I'm a vampire! Basically."
"And also technically... my.. sister," Sigma groaned.
"Woah."

Tetchou walked over to us with Jouno following behind.
"She keeps asking for my blood," Tetchou added.
"And I'm gonna ask again. Pleaseeeee!"
"No."

Kunikida came in and sighed.
"We need some supplies. Meiko, Tetchou. Do you mind getting some for us?"
"Sure!"
"Okay."

Later, When they were on their way back, Tetchou had a thought that had been slightly bugging him the whole time they were out.
"If you're a vampire, then how come you can go out into the sunlight?"
"Oh you see! Basica-"
"Excuse me. Did you say vampire?"
"Huh?"

Meiko and Tetchou turned around to see a woman looking at the floor. She had a long beige jacket, brown hair tied into a bun at the back, a black skirt and black shirt. She looked up. She wore large, round glasses over her eyes. Her eyes with an insane look in them.
