Chapter 2 - Scheming II

"This ..."

These reporters had just received an anonymous phone call from someone, telling them that there would be huge breaking news at the New World Hotel in downtown at 6 am.

The media was full of animals with sharp noses, and regardless whether this news would be true or false, they didn't want to miss even one percent of it.

Someone glanced at Han Chan. Park Jimin looked at him and smiled, "Looks like everyone is not sleeping, and willing to gather at the hotel early in the morning."

"However, I am worried I will disappoint everyone here."

"The truth is in front of us. No matter how capable you are, can you still stop this impulsive crowd?" Han Chan mocked him.

Faced with his arrogant and aggressive approach, Park Jimin was not angry even though he knew that Han Chan had come to prepare.

Jeon Rosè sat closest to him (Han Chan), and she could see a strange cold smile appearing in the corner of his mouth.

She gritted her teeth in silence, and with her sharp eyes, she saw a beautiful little recording pen in his pocket. She was stunned for a moment; apparently, Han Chan did not intend to give Park Jimin a chance to threaten him.

How could she not know that the man she had loved for four years was very cunning? To achieve his goal, he will use all kinds of fraud methods and pay any price.

When Han Chan saw Jeon Rosè's cold and hateful look, he tried to persuade her in a straightforward tone, "Miss, do not be afraid. As long as you say it in front of the media, we can help you find justice!"

The way Han Chan looked at her was cold, arrogant, convincing, and full of confidence.

When Jeon Rosè felt the gaze of the person next to her, she did not look back. She merely looked at Han Chan's confidence as she held the blanket in her hand, got up, and slowly moved to the side of the bed.

She approached Han Chan, who was standing next to the bed. She grinned and raised her head to face the hypocritical man. "Vice President Han, you are dreaming!"

Han Chan's expression changed slightly as he frowned at her. The warning in his cold eyes grew stronger. "Miss, please note your words and actions! Every word you say now will be crucial evidence!"

Jeon Rosè raised her eyes. Her pride would not allow her to look miserable in front of this bastard. She scolded him with a smile, "So, this is your real face? How disgusting!"

Han Chan stared at the frigid woman who refused to cooperate with him in disbelief. "You!"

Suddenly, Park Jimin's voice interrupted an incomprehensible disagreement between the two of them. What he said next left everyone stunned in a place like a bomb in the deep sea.

"I forgot to introduce her to everyone. This is my fiancée."

"This young woman is President Park's fiancée?"

The sound of people sucking cold air brought Jeon Rosè back from her shock.

Although she had an extreme personality, her broken heart was once again brutally raised before it could drip blood.

She looked towards the man with an extraordinary temperament in astonishment.

Jeon Rosè thought she was hallucinating due to a psychological shock, but Park Jimin gently put his arm around her shoulder and leaned her into his arms.

She stiffened when she heard him say, "I don't like to make my personal affairs public, and I don't want my private life to be disturbed. Since today's misunderstanding has occurred, I can understand everyone's worries and thoughts, but ..."

He paused for a moment and looked at Han Chan meaningfully, whose face had significantly changed.

A hint of a smile appeared in his eyes, but it seemed to be a warning, "I do not wish for this misunderstanding to happen for a second time."

"So, this woman is President Park's fiancée."

"Aiya! President Park has reached the right age to get married. I regret bothering President Park and his fiancée. All of this was just a misunderstanding. I wished both of you a hundred years of marriage and early birth."

Some media reporters awkwardly took two steps back, fearing Park Jimin would remember them for this. They may not be able to survive for offending the Park Family!

In less than two minutes, more than a dozen media reporters had gone quietly with only two or three left.

Han Chan suddenly asked coldly, as he doubted whether he should go too. "Fiancée? I'm afraid he's lying! Why don't we hear what this young woman has to say?"

As if he knew the inside story, his sentence made two or three media reporters hesitate to leave. Everyone's eyes immediately focused on Jeon Rosè.

Jiang Ruolan did not dare to move. Park Jimin's gentle hug and the unpleasant smell of tobacco smoke with the aroma of fresh shower gel made her felt lost for a moment.

Han Chan's voice, which seemed to carry an oppressive warning, was heard again. She raised her head and looked at Park Jimin calmly.

She admired his calm demeanor. She had long heard that Old Man Park's grandson was a prodigy, but she hadn't thought that this person, whom she could only occasionally hear about, would one day meet her in such a manner.

Of course, she knew how serious the current situation was. Even if she didn't say anything, her actions were sufficient to send Park Jimin to heaven or hell!

Park Group was a company that could not have the slightest scandal!

Jeon Rosè paused for a moment and looked at Park Jimin firmly. The latter just smiled at her, a warm but not a forced smile, as if he believed that her answer would not disappoint him.

Yet, at the moment, no matter whether it was for passion or logic, she will not let that despicable and shameless bastard succeed!

Jeon Rosè suddenly turned to face Han Chan. The warning in his eye became much more profound. She scowled at him. "He's right."

Seeing Han Chan's expression almost cracked, Jeon Rosè arrogantly raised her head and stared into his eyes without fear. "I, Jeon Rosè, am Park Jimin's fiancée. Vice President Han, do you want me to repeat that statement again?"

The instant their gazes met, Park Jimin's eyebrows rose slightly. Pulling his arm around her shoulder, he said with a non-smiling smile, "Everyone, it's about time for the farce to end. Goodbye."
