Jeon Rose was puzzled. Lee Yeonwoo still came even after the rejection?

When Jeon Rose saw her entering the ward, she immediately closed her eyes. She heard the faint sound of footsteps walking towards the window, she opened her eyes slightly.

Lee Yeonwoo walked quietly to the sofa by the window and looked down at the sleeping Park Jimin. When she caught sight of his suit jacket resting on the back of the sofa, she gently removed it and carefully covered it for him.

After covering him with his jacket, Lee Yeonwoo looked at him for a while before turning around and walking slowly to the bedside.

Jeon Rose closed her eyes again. When she didn't hear any movement, she couldn't help but open her eyes slightly, only to see Lee Yeonwoo still standing by the bed, staring at her with her (Lee Yeonwoo) watery eyes that were filled with spirit energy.

To be honest, Jeon Rose really didn't like the look in her eyes. Although it didn't seem like she had any ill intentions, she just didn't like it.

Jeon Rose frowned and looked at Lee Yeonwoo in silence. It was obvious that Lee Yeonwoo knew that she had woken up. What was the meaning of her to look at her (Jeon Rose) like that?

"I came uninvited, please don't take offense." Lee Yeonwoo leaned over with a smile and said in a low voice that only Jeon Rose could hear.

Jeon Rose also smiled at her and said in a soft voice, "No, not at all. Miss Lee has personally come to visit and it is a great honor for me."

Lee Yeonwoo smiled. "I came here secretly behind my grandfather's back. I came to see how severely injured you are. I can't help much, but I have a Pendant of Peace with me. I'll give it to you as a gift."

She took out a silver necklace from around her neck. The silver necklace was not big, it was only the size of a fingernail, but it looked very old. The engravings on it were still remarkably well-preserved.

"I hope you get well soon," Lee Yeonwoo said softly, laying the necklace on the white table beside her bed.

"Thank you. I appreciate your kindness. As for the gift, I think it's better if you take it back." Jeon Rose said sincerely as she looked at Lee Yeonwoo's eyes, which did not have the slightest bit of malice in them.

"This is my gift to you." Lee Yeonwoo tilted her head and gave her a slight smile before winking at her. "My grandfather still doesn't know that I sneaked out by myself. I need to go back quickly. Miss Jeon, we'll meet again."

With that, she turned and left.

Silence returned to the ward once again. The only sound that could be heard was Park Jimin's steady and shallow breathing.

The necklace was placed on the table by her bed. Jeon Rose wanted to get up and see the necklace, but she could not get up no matter what.

Since Lee Yeonwoo's appearance was so sudden, Jeon Rose had never treated her as an ordinary person. Moreover, her words at the welcoming banquet the other day seemed to be indifferent, and every word had a deep meaning.

Therefore, Jeon Rose couldn't understand why Lee Yeonwoo wanted to give this necklace to her. More and more questions popped up in her mind, like a cat's paw scratching her heart, causing her to be unable to lie down calmly.

Jeon Rose used her arms to support her body. She was barely getting up before she fell back down.

After repeatedly trying for a long time, Jeon Rose finally managed to the table. She stretched out her hand to touch the silver necklace, but just as she placed her hand on the table before she could touch it, she fell from the bed.
