Chapter 93 - I Want To See Him

"Taehyung, don't be like this. We were once such good friends. Can you not draw such a distance between us?"

A mocking sneer formed on Kim Taehyung 's lips. "You don't need to beat around the bush. I'm not Park Jimin. I don't have the patience to listen to your nonsense."

After saying that, he looked at the slight unease in Lee Yeonwoo's eyes with a cold gaze. In the end, he could not bear to do so and sighed. "Tell me, why are you looking for me? It's been five years, and you appeared so sudden. Please don't say it was because you want to be my secretary. With your position among the elite circle, I worry my insignificant Kim could not afford to hire a Buddha like you."

"I want to see him." Knowing that Kim Taehyung was impatient with her, Lee Yeonwoo directly said.

"I know that whatever I'm saying now is of no use, explaining is useless, and it took a lot of effort to find you, but you're so busy at work every day, I don't have a chance to see you, and recently you've been in South Korea, so I have no choice but to find an opportunity to climb to a position close to you and wait for you to come back." Lee Yeonwoo's voice was soft, but not weak. It was still as clear and melodious as it used to be.

"You seem to have found the wrong person." Kim Taehyung sneered.

"I have no way of contacting him right now, so I can only come to find you." Lee Yeonwoo explained softly, "Taehyung, I know that you went to Seoul. I also know that Park Jimin is in Seoul too. Can you let me go with you?"

Kim Taehyung did not say anything.

His slender body slowly leaned back against his chair.

His eyes coldly swept Lee Yeonwoo's pleading eyes.

Seeing that he did not say anything, Lee Yeonwoo bit her lips. "Taehyung, can you help me? I want to find him."

"If I knew this would happen, I wouldn't come back." Kim Taehyung frowned. "Aren't you afraid that in the five years you've been gone, Jimin already has a beautiful wife he loves so much by his side? He may have forgotten you!"

"He didn't. I believe he won't. He isn't a man who will easily change his mind. He won't get married so early!" Lee Yeonwoo's eyes were filled with certainty.

Kim Taehyung raised his eyebrows and sneered. "How do you know he didn't?"

"I feel it."

"Feel?" Kim Taehyung reprimanded with a laugh, "How laughable! You are too much. You're too confident. Back then, he had doted on you in every way possible, but he couldn't even defeat your ambition. You should be grateful to have a boyfriend like him. After five years, you have a gut to say that to me? Now that you want to find him, I'm afraid it will be very difficult for you to fulfill your wish."

"If I don't give it a try, how do I know?" Lee Yeonwoo smiled confidently.

Kim Taehyung's eyebrows furrowed slightly. He seemed to be in a difficult situation. "What if I say I don't want to help you?"

"You'll help me."

"ou don't want Jimin to be in South Korea . You want him to return to Boston. The reason he left Boston was because of me." Lee Yeonwoo tilted her head and smiled. Her eyes were glittering with spirit energy.

Kim Taehyung didn't say a word. His thin lips pursed as he looked at Lee Yeonwoo's sparkled eyes that bright with determination.

To Park Jimin, Lee Yeonwoo was a person from his past who cannot be mentioned. If Lee Yeonwoo actually went to look for him, Kim Taehyung could not imagine what kind of consequences it would be.

He did not have the confidence to gamble on whether it was good or bad.

In the evening, a charity dinner was held in the province. Since it was held for a serious purpose, there was no need for all invitations to change into formal attire.

Jeon Rosè didn't dress at all, she simply combed her hair into a ponytail.

When she was sent to the gathering place, she did not see Park Jimin

Because he had matters to discuss with others in the afternoon, she was sent back to the hotel.

Jeon Rosè didn't know whether Park Jimin had arrived or not, so she looked at the time and walked straight into the banquet hall.

The banquet hall was grand and magnificent. The moment Jeon Rosè walked in, she saw Secretary Kang walking towards her. "Miss Jeon"

"No, everyone comes one by one. Dinner will start in about half an hour. President Park is inside. Miss Jeon, please come with me."

Jeon Rosè nodded and followed Secretary Du through the bustling crowd. Soon, they saw a tall, slender figure standing among the crowd.

Park Jimin was in the middle of a discussion with some business partners. When he saw Jeon Rosè, he smiles affectionately at her.

Park Jimin wrapped his arm around Jeon Rosè's waist. He smiled and introduced Jeon Rosè to those people around him. "These two are Director Wang and Director Yan from Beijing. We often come in contact, so you must get to know them."

Just like that, Jeon Rosè was gently embraced by Park Jimin as she stood in front of the two middle-aged men who had polite smiles plastered on their faces.
