Jeon Rose immediately sensed something was wrong. She turned and looked at Park Jimin.
If her memory was correct, Park Jimin had always been calm and collected. Although his expression hadn't changed, with her sixth sense, she knew that he knew the woman at the door.
The car didn't stop, passing by the plaza like an arrow detached from a bowstring.
Jeon Rose no longer turned to look. She only looked at the blurry figure of the woman through the side mirror. A strange feeling of confusion arose in her heart.
Although she did not know who the woman was, from Park Jimin's behavior, he had answered her question. He knew who that woman was, but he was pretending he didn't know her.
It was as if she was a stranger that he had never seen before.
As if she was a stranger waiting to ask for help.
As if this was a common occurrence.
Jeon Rose did not plan to say anything about it.
However, for some reason, when Park Jimin's hand tightened slightly, she felt that a ripple had stirred up his calm heart.
This was something that Park Jimin had never shown to her no matter how well he treated her.
The only thing Jiang Ruolan could understand was that he was rational. Park Jimin had always been reasonable towards her, and apart from the most primitive urges between men and women, he had never given her any other urges.
"Jimin, are your morning meetings very important?" Jeon Rosè suppressed the indescribable uneasiness in her heart and asked softly as she looked at the side of his face that was still calm and serene.
"Why?" His right hand was still holding her hand. He looked back at her and gently smiled.
"It's nothing. I just want to know how long your morning meeting will be. Can you come out for lunch? There's a newly opened donkey meat restaurant next to my company. I don't know if you like it, but I heard from my colleagues that it was very delicious, and I want you to accompany me to have a taste."
"It shouldn't be over by noon." There was an apologetic look in his eyes as he gently shook her hand. "Maybe another day, or night?"
"Alright, we'll go when you have time. If I'm really greedy, then I'll let Cha Nayun accompany me first." Jeon Rosè replied smilingly.
She lifted her other hand and gently placed it on their intertwined hands. "Jimin, are we going to be happy?"
"Are you not happy now?" Park Jimin took advantage of the moment to glance at her.
Jeon Rosè didn't know what had happened to her. Was it because of that woman? Or was it because of that little girl she saw yesterday?
That little girl's face, Jeon Rosè suddenly remembered who she looked like, but she couldn't be sure.
There were too many uncertainties, and the unease in her heart grew even stronger.
"That's not what I meant. What I mean is ..." Jeon Rosè embarrassedly lifted a strand of hair from her cheek and pushed it behind her ear. She felt that she had made a big fuss, so she said, "Just pretend that I didn't say anything."
Park Jimin's soft laugh entered her ear. Jeon Rosè looked at him with shock. "What are you laughing at?"
He didn't say anything, just smiled at her and parked in the makeshift parking space across from the food bureau.
