Jeon Rosè looked around before asking, "How did you know I was here?"

"Nonsense, I got someone to book your ticket, how could I not know that you're here?" Kim Taehyung crossed his hands over his chest and leaned against the door of the car.

He was looking at Jeon Rosè's dark face with an indifferent expression, "What? You took my ID card and ran off on your own. Now, you don't dare to face me?"

Jeon Rosè was so embarrassed when he mentioned that. She lowered her head, took out her wallet, pulled out Kim Taehyung's ID and passed it to him. "There. I'll give it back to you."

Kim Taehyung scoffed. He took the identity card and put it in his pocket. He then nodded to the side with his chin, signaling her to get in the car.

"Stop standing there. I'm here to pick you up!" Seeing that Jeon Rosè was still standing there motionless, Kim Taehyung looked at her in disgust, as if he was looking at a fool. "Get in the car quickly."

Didn't he come to see Park Jennie?

Why was he here to pick her up?

Jeon Rosè raised her head to look at Kim Taehyung.

On the highway back to the city, Jeon Rose would glance back at Kim Taehyung, who was driving. It was probably because she was a bit too deliberate, he caught her sneaking glance at him.

"What are you looking at?" Kim Taehyung turned his head and looked at Jeon Rosè with a strange expression in his eyes.

"What's your relationship with Park Jennie?" she asked.

"Park Jennie? What can Jennie and I have to do with each other? She's Jimin's sister." He replied indifferently, and then curiously asked her, "You know Jennie?"

Jeon Rosè almost bit her tongue. "Even though I work in the media and in the Ministry of Commerce, I am still in the same circle of people. The famous CEO of Parks Enterprise, there shouldn't be no one who hasn't heard of her before, right?"

Kim Taehyung was smiling at her, but he didn't say anything else.

It seemed that he didn't like to talk about Park Jennie at all, thus, he quieted down.

Jeon Rosè couldn't help but turn her head and stare at him, "I just saw her waiting for you in the parking lot. I thought you were here to send her off."

"She went back to the United States today, and she called me when I was on my way to the airport, so I dropped her off." He replied.

So that's how it is ...

Did she overthink?

Originally, with a woman's gossiping nature, Jeon Rosè was still secretly guessing if there was some secret between the two of them. However, seeing Kim Taehyung's feelings for Park Jennie only as a "sister to his best friend," it didn't seem like there was something between them at all.

Could it be that she had seen Park Jennie's expression wrongly?

After reaching the city, Kim Taehyung seemed to have something to do, so he left as soon as he sent Jeon Rosè to the company. On the way, she received a call from the office.

Since it was a Saturday, and there weren't many people in the company during the afternoon, Jeon Rosè immediately returned the equipment she brought with her.

It was already evening, and after she packed up for a bit, she returned to Greenville Residence.

Park Jimin had left Daejeon City not long ago and did not say when he would return to Seoul City, but Jeon Rosè vaguely remembered that Secretary Kang had said he (Jimin) would leave for a month, so she was afraid that he wouldn't return for the next two weeks.

Even if he did return, he probably wouldn't have come to Greenville Residence.

Time passed quickly, and in just four to five days, the company underwent major changes.

Some of her colleagues have been transferred to other departments, but she and Cha Nayun still hold the original position. During the meeting, the editors did not explain the reason but vaguely said it was because they could not lead.

After hearing her colleagues mumbling in private, Jeon Rosè realized that it was actually Kang Eunjae who had made the decision.

Jeon Rosè felt that something wasn't quite right.

Kang Eunjae was Park Jimin's secretary. Although he was not as high as the CEO, he was still restricted by the boss. He was above everyone else, and he had a lot of power in his hands.

She had always known that Secretary Kang seemed gentle and refined, but he was not simple. The more one knew how to restrain their emotions, the more stable one would be in this society. Secretary Kang always gave her a cautious and reserved feeling.

The last time she had visited that laborer in the hospital, she was able to tell that Secretary Kang wanted to be alone.

People all had desires, some deep, some positive, some evil.

Jeon Rosè usually wouldn't think too much about these things. However, this time, the case seemed to be closed in such a hurry that it made her a little wary.

Kang Eunjae was not a simple person. He tried to control the media's mouth, but another part of the news was leaked. All of this was not good for Park Jimin, but for Kang Eunjae, it was a chance to succeed.

What does he want to do? With whom does he work in the dark? Does anyone want to replace Park Jimin as a CEO?

Once the company's meeting had ended, Jeon Rosè immediately tidied up the documents in her hands while standing up. Suddenly, there seemed to be a voice resounding in her head.

She suddenly remembered the old woman's words who rushed to her side in the hospital that day.

Didn't Secretary Kang say that these laborers were outsiders? Furthermore, they were all in remote areas far away from the village. Why was the family of the injured laborer in the hospital the moment this happened? They even want the media to uphold justice at every turn.

Jeon Rosè grabbed the document tightly.

Did Park Jimin know about these things?

The next night, Jeon Rosè was reading by herself in her study room when the music from her cell phone suddenly hooted in the quiet study room. The number displayed on the screen was Park Jimin.

"Hello?" She picked up the phone, placed the book upside down on the table. Fearing that the signal in the study was bad, Jeon Rose got up and walked out of the room and went downstairs.

"Find time to request a few days off from the company." Park Jimin's faint voice was heard over the phone, "I've been on a business trip for a few days now. I need the most professional media to follow me to that meeting."

"Huh? You want me to go on a business trip with you?"

She had just returned from Daejeon City and was leaving again.

"What is it? You feel that you are unfit?"

"No, no, I mean this kind of good thing suddenly fell from the sky, I wasn't prepared for it!"
