The heroes rushed about as the fight ended, rushing the injured to the hospital and capturing what was left of the Yakuza.

Sir Nighteye was in the worst state. Kirishima was pretty banged up, too, and Mirio was rushed off. Eagle and Robbin got carried away quickly as Hawks were told what happened. In only 45 minutes, three of his best sidekicks were taken out.

Hawks tutted as he glared at the window, putting down the phone.

"Is something wrong?" Tokoyami glanced at him in confusion as Hawks stood up.

"Get your things. We're going to the hospital."

"Wait, did something happen?!"

~~~
Midoriya sat before the doctor as he waited for the results. "I did a thorough examination, but other than your arm, there seems to be nothing out of the ordinary."
"Good to hear. Thanks a lot."
"That's an odd injury, though. Could you tell me how you got it?"
Midoriya would not. "Please, sir, how is everyone else?
"I can fill you in, Midoriya." Aizawa pulled the curtains back as he walked in.
"Oh, good, you're okay!"
"Just needed some stitches. Now come with me." Aizawa led Midoriya into the corridor, walking through the hospital side by side. "Sorry, I couldn't be with you at the end when it counted."
"It's all right. Please tell me, how are all the others?"
Aizawa paused before he began. "Kirishima's covered with bruises and lacerations from head to toe, but he'll live. Amajiki cracked a bone in his face, and he has some other minor injuries, but none of them should leave a scar. Fat Gum has a few broken bones, too, but he seems mostly fine otherwise. Luckily, the blade that stabbed Rock Lock didn't hit any vital organs, so he should make a full recovery." Aizawa paused, giving time for Midoriya to express his relief.
"Eagle's injuries were minor too, mostly as a result of her Quirk, and she should be fine by the time she wakes. Robbin had to go into surgery. Unfortunately, the spike severed most of his leg from the rest of his body, and it was decided to amputate. He'll live, but he won't have his right leg anymore. All of Kamishiro's injuries left when he lost his Quirk, and we're having to wait it out to find out if it's permanent or not."
Midoriya frowned. "Um, sir, what about Eri?"
"Still feverish and sleeping fitfully. She's being quarantined for now."
"Quarantined? Really? So does that mean I won't be able to see her?"
"You know, they made that call based on your description of what happened back there. She's got a dangerous Quirk and no control over it. If something provokes her enough to activate it again, I'm the only one who can stop her. You were only able to touch her because you kept destroying your body faster than she could rewind it, right? There aren't exactly a lot of people who could pull that off. And even if there were, who's to say how powerful she really is? We have no idea what her limits are."
Midoriya sighed as he walked into the evaluator. "I know what you mean. If you hadn't been there to make her stop, I'm not sure what would've happened."
"Teaching her control will be especially hard since her Quirk only seems to work on people. When you're training on live subjects, the danger is exponentially greater. Her emotional state will be a factor, too. With so many unknowns, it makes sense to keep her quarantined. For her sake, as well as ours. In other words, we can't depend on the girl or her Quirk right now."
Midoriya tilted his head in confusion. "Huh?"
"All we can do is accept it. Now, come on. Some others have joined us."
Midoriya gasped as he walked in. All Might, Bubble Girl, Centipeder and Recovery Girl were all inside. Midoriya stared in horror as he learnt why they were there.
Sir Nighteye was dying.
~~~

Hawks stormed through the hospital, ignoring the people staring at him. Tokoyami tried to keep up, a worried look on his face.

Hawks stopped before the door, looking inside as he saw both Robbin and Eagle awake and talking. "And here I thought you were my best." He smiled as Robbin groaned and Eagle giggled.

"Heya Hawks! Turns out it was a pretty big fight, huh?" Eagle hesitated before she looked at her hands. "I lost so many eyes; I wonder if they'll let me go see Overhaul and get them back."

Hawks sighed a little. "Good to see this hasn't put a damper on your spirit."

"Never, sir."

Hawks paused before looking at Robbin. "And what about you, Robi? How are you feeling?"

Robbin hesitated before he spoke. "Honestly, a little bit lighter than before."

Hawks and Eagle stared in shock before they grinned. "Wow, it must be bad if you're making jokes," Eagle jabbed as Robbin grumbled.

"And I'm never telling another joke in my life."

"Aw, come on, it was super funny!" Eagle grinned as Robbin grumbled more. Hawks laughed between them when Tokoyami walked in.

"Excuse me but... Where is Morph?"

Eagle and Robbin lowered their heads, unable to answer.

~~~
Hawks knocked on the door as Uzu grumbled. "No. Too tired."
"Now, when has that ever stopped me. The early bird gets the worm."
"I'm the worm in that scenario."
"Uzu, how are you doing?" Tokoyami walked closer, hesitating as he spoke.
Uzu huffed, sitting up. "Strangely, better than an hour ago, but I guess that's just because I'm not bleeding."
"Do you know yet?"
Uzu frowned, glaring at his hand. After a while, nothing happened, and he sighed. Hawks frowned, placing a hand on Uzu's shoulder. "Don't worry. According to the others, it takes a few hours to wear off anyway."
Uzu nodded. "Yeah. And the chances of me actually being hit with one of the few finished projects is really low, right?"
"Yeah." Hawks paused before he took a breath. "Listen, if your Quirk is gone, you will get a choice, but no matter what, you're always welcome at my Agency."
Uzu smiled. "Thanks."
Tokoyami blinked as he remembered something. "Oh, I hope you don't mind, but I sent a message to Jiro, Yaoyorozu and Ueda saying you were in the hospital. I told them you had minor injuries and said nothing about the Quirk."
Uzu grinned. "Seriously?! Are they coming?"
Tokoyami stepped back. "I do not know."
Hawks glanced at Uzu. "So, who are Jiro, Yaoyorozu and Ueda?"
Uzu smirked proudly. "Ueda- or Akiko- is my childhood friend, and Momo and Kyoka- or Yaoyorozu and Jiro- are my girlfriends." He grinned before frowning. "I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say that publicly yet. Forget I said anything!"
Uzu waved his arms as Hawks grinned. Tokoyami frowned. "You know that everybody is aware you three are dating? We all heard Aizawa's screaming when you came back late from your date."
Uzu blushed as he coughed. "In our defence, the train was late."
Hawks grinned. "Hey, no need for defence. At least you asked your crush out. I've been trying to get Robbin and Eagle to admit their feelings for years."
Uzu grinned. "I know! They are so obvious."
Hawks chuckled before he stood up. "We should let you rest and try not to think too hard."
Uzu nodded as Hawks led Tokoyami out. "Sir, are we heading back to Kyushu?"
"No. I want a word with our little trigger-happy friend."
