Before Midoriya could argue, Uzu grabbed him and ran for the exit. Uraraka, Tsu, Nejire and Ryukyu were all present.

"Batter up. Let's get you out of the equation!" Uzu increased the size of his arms. "Uraraka, Tsu, catch!" He threw Nighteye, Eri and Eagle as hard as he could as they screamed in surprise, barely reacting to catch the trio. Uraraka and Tsu latched onto the wall, barely holding on as they held up the three.

"Woah, that was a close one." Uraraka smiled as she glanced around, her smile faltering when she saw Deku.

Tsu also looked confused. "If you're here, then who was the Deku we just saw."

Their confusion was cut short as Compress was pushed into the hole, reaching out to grab Eri. They jumped off, landing on the ground as Uzu huffed.

"I was hoping you would run away," he muttered as Uraraka chuckled.

"Sorry, but don't worry, we'll protect them."

Uzu put Midoriya down when the ground erupted around them. He pushed Compress to the side. Uzu threw Eri away, his arm getting ripped off in the process.

"So glad that was a fake," he gritted as he glanced down. Fake or not, that was a lot of blood, and he had a lot pouring from his wings. He wouldn't make it at this rate.

They didn't have a chance to breathe when Overhaul charged. Uzu tried to create a mini wall with tails from his back, but he was just slapped aside. Overhaul shot the spikes forward, forcing Uraraka and Tsu back as he grabbed Eri.

Midoriya wouldn't give up, rushing after them.

"Morph!" Uraraka rushed over to Uzu as he groaned. His tails were bleeding, mostly ripped in half and joining the bloody mess of his wings.

Midoriya reached out his arms as Eri jumped. She held onto Mirio's cape as Midoriya caught her, using all his power to break through the spikes and avoid getting killed. He burst upwards, flying through the air.

The bones should have broken, but he felt no pain. He felt cold and fire and all wrong. "Is this your power?" He looked at Eri when he gasped, holding his stomach. "Wh-What's happening? It's like my body is being pulled from the inside."

"She has no control," Overhaul announced as he raised himself up. "She may have activated it at a good time, but she doesn't know how to stop it. Isn't that right, Eri? She rewinds humans. That's who Erid is. Depending on how you use her, it might even be possible to turn a person back into a monkey. If you keep carrying her like that, you'll be annihilated. Everyone who touches her will be rewound into nothingness. That girl's Quirk is cursed. Hand her over. There's no way to stop her other than to disassemble her. Unless you want to be annihilated, hand Eri over."

Midoriya stood up, glaring at Overhaul. "Never." He tied Eri to his back, using Mirio's cape to hold her. "So that's it. The moment my leg broke, you wound it back to before it had broken- before I could even feel the pain. Your Quirk is such a blessing!" Midoriya smiled as he stood up, his Quirk activating across his entire body as Eri cried onto his shoulder. "Eri, will you lend me your power?"

Overhaul glared as he moved, crushing through the building and sending the spikes out. Midoriya disappeared, charging under Overhaul as he kicked up, throwing Overhaul into the air.

Midoriya spun uncontrollably, kicking the air in an attempt to slow himself down. Eri's Quirk was getting stronger, tearing him apart. Below, Uraraka grabbed Nighteye as Uzu grabbed her.

"Take me too."

"No, you're way too injured."

Uzu shook his head. "I've stopped the bleeding, and nothing important was damaged. As it stands, I'm in a better place than either of you. I can't stop here. Not when she's in danger."

Uraraka hesitated, looking to Ryukyu for guidance, when she nodded. Uraraka picked up Uzu, and she took them both to the surface.

"Why doesn't anybody see the big picture?!" Overhaul moved the giant mass of flesh around him. It swirled as it deformed and moved. "I'm going to tear down this entire world!"

Midoriya shot forward, circling Overhaul and trying to find an entrance.

"Destroy its entire foundation. You're all blinded by some outdated sense of what's right. You're just pretending to be heroes! I won't let you stand in my way!" The limbs reformed around him as he punched at Midoriya, who kicked him away.

Midoriya spun in the air, glaring at Overhaul as he moved. "If I can't save Eri, one small child who's relied on me to help her, then how can I call myself a hero who saves everybody?!"

Overhaul screamed as he created thick limbs around him. Midoriya flew in front of the sun, pulling his arm back as the power radiated from him. He rained punches down on Overhaul, ripping him apart and crushing through his walls. The mask was thrown from him as the dust flew around them.

Uraraka looked at Sir Nighteye in concern. "Where is he?"

"But I swore it. Chikashi succeeded and escaped, while Midoriya lost his life. That is the irrefutable future." Nighteye stared into the dust, where Midoriya stood strong with Eri on his back. "I saw it so clearly. But this is new. A different set of events."

Midoriya glared at Overhaul as he lay there. Midoriya smiled, glancing back at Eri. "Hey, are you ok-" he couldn't finish when the yellow light wrapped around him stronger. Midoriya fell to the door as Overhaul screamed. He forced his limbs to obey and raise to crush Midoriya.

The light rose up the arm, expelling the other member from his body.

Uraraka reacted before he could plan anything, jumping over him and grabbing his arms, pinning him against the floor.

Ryukyu pulled herself out of the crater, looking up in concern. "What's the situation?"

"I got Nighteye to a safe place. We've ordered civilians to evacuate the area. Deku's fighting Chisaki! But something seems off."

From the ground, Tamaki carried Mirio up as Tsu arrived with Aizawa and Robbin. Uzu smiled, helping Robbin up. "Hey, it's almost over."

"Where's Eagle?" Robbin could barely talk as Uzu smiled more.

"We've already gotten her out. She's safe."

"Shame. It looks like the kid could have used her." Robbin glanced across where Eri was losing control.

Aizawa lifted his head as Tsu nodded, raising his head. His hair raised as Eri's Quirk stopped. She sighed in relief before collapsing atop Midoriya, who held her closer.

Uzu let out a sigh of relief. "It's over." Uzu smiled until he saw something. Midoriya didn't see it; the others didn't notice it either. "No." Uzu tripled the size of his legs. Midoriya could not move out of the way, even if he tried.

Uzu slid before Midoriya, creating more arms to surround him, protecting him as the bullet hit. Only when it hit did Uzu really understand what he just did.

Because his wings, tails, and arms they all disappeared.

The police officers tackled the man who shot Uzu, kicking the gun away from him. Kurono glared, a pained look on his face. "Stupid kid. You shouldn't have been able to beat him."

"Uzu!" Robbin tried to move as Aizawa forced him to stay. Instead, Tsu rushed over, catching Uzu as he fell.

"Please tell me that was one of the temporary bullets."

Tsu couldn't answer as Uzu's blood loss and the stress finally took him to darkness.
