Bakugo's hands sparked as he ready to punch a child. He barely had time to dodge as the black ball swung by his face, tearing off his mask. The kid in front grinned. "My Bringing Balls'll make a feast outta you. Bet you didn't see that coming! These monsters are super fast and strong."

The group couldn't react as the dust spun up, attacking them and knocking them off balance, but it was just dust. A girl released petals, and a boy threw a golden glowing hula hoop. Lastly, a boy opened his mouth, a tank mouth coming out and shooting a bullet.

The area exploded in a mount of ash as Present Mic winced. "What? Kids these days are stupidly strong. How is this even possible, huh? Back when I was their age, I was just learning how to get my yell working. Having this much power when you're just a tyke should be illegal."

"Allow me to explain," Seiji interrupted, holding his hands behind his back. "As the generations pass, Quirks combine and become more powerful. Hypothetically, stronger, more complex Quirks may one day become too hard for anyone to control, especially untrained children. Quirk singularity doomsday. That's what they call this theory. These kids make me fearful that this is indeed our future."

The teacher gasped, her eyes filling with tears. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. It's all my fault." She stood up to leave when Present Mic stopped her.

"Wait, don't leave now. Stay. This jam is just gettin' started. Let's see how they react."

Bakugo raised his hand, exploding the attacks to dust. Inasa blew them away, and Todoroki created an ice wall for Naka and Camie to step behind.

"Pretty bold of them to attack without hesitation like that. I'm almost impressed," Bakugo praised as Todoroki hummed.

"They know that we're hero trainees. They likely feel they don't need to hold back against us."

"It's so sad," Inasa muttered. "I wanna be their friend. Even if it wasn't part of our training."

The kids shook off any hesitation as one girl fired her Quirk. It hit Todoroki, who smiled and turned to her. "Hey. Wow. You've got such a beautiful face, dear. Don't let that frown spoil the effect."

The kid gasped proudly when the 'Todoroki' disappeared, and Camie was left standing, surrounded by a strange mist. "Sorry, hon, just a little illusion for ya. Wouldn't it be, like, so swoony, though? Our school's mega old-fashioned and doesn't even allow us to go on dates. Ugh, it's just the worst."

Bakugo laughed, mimicking the fake Todoroki much to his own amusement, while Todoroki didn't understand the humour.

"Anyway," Inasa interrupted, "let's do the thing we were talking about before, guys!"

The kids couldn't respond when the wind picked up, raising them from the ground.

"You kids are amazing, I'll give ya that. Thing is, there's more to heroing than just power. Here I go!" Inasa grinned as Camie blew into the wind, projecting the northern lights across the room. Todoroki raised the ice into the air, solidifying around the Quirks and turning them into a slide.

Inasa lowered the kids onto the ice, letting them smile and grin. Todoroki lit up the rings surrounding the ice, shattering the light around.

"What? I didn't know these guys could do this," the boy gaped as the others joined in.

"I can't make complex structures out of my ice yet, so I used the objects you made as a frame for my design. Fortunately, you have some amazing powers," Todoroki praised as the kids surrounded him.

Todoroki helped them up. He watched in contentment as Inasa joined him. Bakugo walked to the leader, resisting the glare he wanted to give. "You too. Get in there and have some fun." He grabbed the boy, trying to pull him along, when the kid shouted.
