ΔΔΔScott walks up to my side while glaring at the twins.
"Scott, c'mon man. You don't under-" Ethan started before he was cut off by Scott.
"I know the situation. She told us, and I don't care. I knew her from middle school. She was just a curious kid, leave her be," he protested.
Aiden stepped forward growling, in protest, but Ethan stopped him, glaring at him with unspoken words that somehow they can only understand.
I hear more people running up behind me, I assume it's Allison and Lydia.
"Why are you protecting her if you know then," Aiden asks.
"Because she's my best friend, Scott's friend, and basically Allison's sister," Lydia replies.
"So then why is Stiles here," he asks.
I stiffen at the sound of his name. I did not know he was here too. Maybe he does care still?

The rest of the week goes by quick. The oni start to show up more while Allison and dad try to find answers with Kakashi, even though I could give them those answers.
One night I hear a rapid knock on my door, waking me up. I get up and open the door, but none is there. Confused, I go back to bed until I hear the same knock on Allison's door.
"What the hell have you been doing," I hear Isaac ask, frantically.
"Sleeping. Why," she responds in a tired voice.
Curious as to what's happening I start to make my way out of my room.
"You haven't heard a single phone call or text. Either one of you," he asks as he senses me in the doorway.
I look at my phone that I picked up from my room and see that it's off, weird.
"Mine is off," I say.
Allison turns around with confusion on her face. "Mine too. I don't understand. I never turn my phone off."
As she turns her phone on she reads her messages as worry flashes across her face. "Stiles sleepwalking? Is he okay?"
"Yeah. He's-" Isaac starts, but I cut him off.
"W-what!? Where is he now," I ask in a hurry.
"Hospital," Isaac states.
I'm just about to rush out until Allison stops me.
"Y/N wait. Do you have any weird messages or voicemails on your phone," she asks looking at hers confused.
I look at mine, nothing seems weird other than Stiles texting me.
"Not really. I just have a text from Stiles saying not to look for him. It was sent two hours ago," I say.
"How is that weird," Isaac asks. His question kind of hurt, but it was true.
"Stiles hasn't texted or talked to her since she got here, only if he has to," Allison says matter of factly.
"Why did you ask, Ali?"
"I have a lot of voicemails from an unknown number," she says.
She presses on one and we all hear it. It's a Japanese instruction to Japanese-Americans in an internment camp during WWII. The camp is Oak Creek, and I recognize it to be the camp my father researched when he met my mother. It's also the camp she resided during then.
"Y/N is it okay if we go to your dad to translate this," Allison asks.
"Why wouldn't it be," I ask.

We go to ask my dad about the message, but he tells Allison that it is a fake because there was no Oak Creek. Which is what everyone wanted to think because they covered it up. That is until my father did his research.
"I'll meet you both back at the car," I tell Allison and Isaac as they go to leave.
Once I know they're gone I confront my father on why he lied.
"Why did you lie about Oak Creek," I ask.
"It's dangerous if they know what happened. the same fate could follow them if they knew," he replies.
I shake my head in disapproval. "Don't you see the same events are happening, dad? It's better they know more then later," I say, raising my voice.
"So why didn't you tell them, y/n? I know you understood that message just as much as I did," he asks.
We stare at each other for a moment until I scoff and walk back to Allison's car.

The three of us go to the hospital. I'm on edge abcs keep telling Allison to go faster while she's also trying to get me to calm down.
Once we get there I go to rush into the hospital, but Isaac pushes me aside for some reason. I see him paralyzed on the ground the next moment and realize why. There's a cut wire from the roof flying around and the water line was hit, making the water electrified.
My twin sister, Kira, is on the other side of the water. She runs atop a car and watches the wire to catch it, stopping the power coming from it. Scott and Derek are now by my side watching the scene unfold with Kira. She stops the wire by absorbing the power through her hands and her eyes glow, showing the kitsune in her.
"Are you okay," Derek asks me as he is helping me up.
"Stiles. Is he okay? Where is he," I ask, still worrying about the boy who can't bring himself to talk to me.
Derek and Scott look at each other then look at me.
"Stiles left the hospital. We think he's the nogitsune," Derek states.
The nogitsune. Stiles possessed? How? When? Why?
Shock spreads through my body, overpowering the panic that was forming before. I know my mom is going to use her oni against the nogitsune no matter the host it chose. If Scott finds out the truth about the nogitsune, he'll find another way to save his best friend. He had to.

It's been a week since anyone has seen or heard from Stiles. I'm in my art class when I get a text from Scott that Stiles is okay.
AN: Sorry for a late update. I'm working on another story right now while also going to school and working right now. I'm not going to publish it until I have more chapters written.
