'Brownies, my mom's recipe.' As soon as I said that, a wave of emotion flooded me. Never again would I hear her voice.

'Bring some for my friends, please?' Hyunjin asked, oblivious to Felix's inner conflict.

'K,' Felix replied.

Hyunjin said, 'If you're ready, we can go now.'

Felix blinked. 'Sure.'

A few minutes later they were out on the crowded streets on their way to Minho's house, Felix clutching a small container of brownies. Pushing through hordes of people, they finally reached Minho's house.

'You go.' Hyunjin nudged Felix gently. 

'Uh... I'm not sure if... I mean...' He stammered. 

'Just go,' Hyunjin said, the hint of a smirk spreading on his face.

Felix pouted. 'Fine.'

But when he knocked, Felix began to have some doubts. 

Last time you made a friend, he ditched you. What if it happens again? What if he...

All those what-ifs whirled in his brain, short circuiting it, just as Minho opened the door.

'Who are you?' He asked, frowning.

'I...uhm... Hyunjin!'

'Yes?' Hyunjin poked his face out from behind a tree.

'Fuck you! Get over here and help me. Please!'

'Hyunjin?' Minho looked over at the face from behind the tree. 'Oh, hi. who is this???'

'My new roommate.' 

'Come in,' Minho invited. 

As they stepped inside, 6 people were seated on the couch. 

'Who is it?' A familiar looking person stood up.

'Chan, it's Hyunjin and his roommate... uh, what's his name?'

'Felix.' Felix mumbled. He studied this person - Chan, was it? - a bit more closely.

Suddenly it came to him. Chan... Chris? The one who ditched him in Australia?

'Are you... Is your name Christopher?' Felix asked.

'Yes actually. Weird. How did you know?' The person, no, Chris asked.
