Felix POV:
I wake up in the morning, when the lights were still out, when even the sparrows haven't started chirping yet.
I wake up when the sun was still stretching, or perhaps still sleeping.
I wake up at 6.
I was thankful. I didn't want to redo last night. Absolutely not.
I take a shower. The warm water felt good against my skin. Showers I could afford at home, but I would prefer not to. The owner of the apartment, he makes us pay for all the water we use.
After I leave, it's 7 already. Hyunjin's up.
"Hey." He says. His eyes have dark shadows under it, and I mentally kick myself.
"Hi. How are you?" I say. My hair's still dripping, plastered to my face. "Sorry about last night." I murmur apologetically.
"It's alright." He says, but it's obvious that he's tired.
We made food, and the rest of the day goes by in a blur. At night, I fall asleep peacefully, no nightmares, thankfully. Tomorrow is Monday. School time.
***
In the morning, I pull on my uniform at 6:30, while Hyunjin was still in the washroom. Nice and early. Can't be late on the first day; that'd be mortifying.
Hyunjin comes over to me. I didn't hear him approach, which bothered me tremendously.
"It starts at 8, but it's best if we arrive in class at 7:45." He picks up my schedule. "You'll have all of your classes with either me or my friends or both, judging by this. Should I make breakfast or will you?"
"I can do it." My voice sounded small, which surprised me. My father was scarier than this. So why was I so scared?
"OK. I'll pack my stuff. You want me to do it for you?"
"OK." I start making the food.
Ten minutes later, the food was ready. Twenty minutes after that the food was gone. Forty minutes later we leave for class.
Lee Know, I.N., Seungmin, Han, Changbin and Chan all arrive and come up to Hyunjin and me. I don't know what I looked like then, but I'm sure I looked very nervous, for Hyunjin put a hand on my back and rubbed it soothingly.
"Hey Felix. Hey you." Han says, nudging Hyunjin's shoulder playfully.
"Hi..." I whisper.
"Don't be nervous. You'll be fine. One thing though..." Han trailed off, a smirk playing across his face. "Hyunjin attracts many girls."
"No, I don't." Hyunjin says, trying to be patient, but failing.
"Yes you do!" Seungmin pipes up.
"Not you!" Hyunjin groans.
We part, me and Hyunjin heading to math, while the others make their way to their classes.
True to Seungmin and Han's words, Hyunjin attracted girls like moths to a light.
"Hi, Hyunjin!" Someone practically purred.
"Hey Hyunjin! Could you help me with my homework after school?" Another crooned.
"Oh! Who is that pretty boy your with, Hyunjin?"
"Shove off, pretty boy, you don't stand a chance against me." A girl pushes others away, standing in front of Hyunjin. "I'm Sun Hee, his future girlfriend."
"Pathetic excuse of a human being, too." Hyunjin added.
"C'mon, Hyunjin, honey. You'll be mine one day!" Sun Hee twirls and bats her eyes sickeningly.
"That'd be the day I die!" He announces.
"One day!" She calls, then brushing past me, she lowered her voice so that only I could here and whispered: "You take him from me, I make sure you pay."
Great. Only the first day, not even five minutes, and I get threatened.
Sorry for not updating in so long. I had a competition, Kids Lit Quiz. To anyone who is competing, good luck.
Bye
