Whatever Namjoon meant by "no time" better mean there is no way that Park Jimin will become friends with Jeon Jungkook. Because Jimin has no plans to change his attitude towards the director and it seems like the notion is reciprocated.

Jimin thought that the weeks before filming would help him cool down and by the time they would start working together he would have more patience. But it seems like there is no chance for that since the second Jimin sees the glimpse of Jungkook speed walking through the set, iced americano in hand, hair ruffled, big glasses on his small nose Jimin can feel nothing but pure rage.

He doesn't have much time to marinate in his hate before he is pushed into action.

Writing a book is a calm process, just you and your small world that you pour into pages in hopes of bringing people joy. Working on a set is completely different in a way that Jimin wasn't prepared for. There are people everywhere, doing their thing, seemingly passing by others who do something completely different. In the end, it all comes together.

At first, Jimin doesn't know where he should be to not bother people, shuffling around just to get out of the way. That is until Namjoon fishes him out from the crowd and introduces him to his chair.

"And I just sit here?" Jimin asks, already feeling guilt pooling in his gut as people rush in every direction.

Namjoon nods, giving Jimin a dimpled smile, "You can watch the screen," He says, putting the script into Jimin's lap. "Just stay quiet during recording, and then we can monitor what we got and decide if any changes are needed."

He just nods along, holding onto the script. This is overwhelming in a way that he wasn't expecting on his way here. Sure, he was nervous, it's a new situation but now he feels like he is given way more than he can handle.

"Don't worry," Namjoon assures him, seeing his legs shaking slightly. "I'm always around, and even Jungkook." Jimin can't hold in a groan. Namjoon giggles, somehow finding it funny.

"Give him a chance," Namjoon asks Jimin. "I don't know what happened between you two but I promise, he isn't Satan himself."

"He can be Satan," Jimin points out, getting comfortable in his folded chair.

Namjoon laughs, folding into half, "You two," He says through a laugh, already moving away from Jimin, head shaking as he keeps laughing.

Jimin loses him in the crowd and suddenly he feels incredibly awkward. He tries to look busy, going through the script, looking around, and twisting in the chair. The screen in front of him is on, showing live footage of the set, people walking in front of the camera.

To try and relax, Jimin focuses his attention on the view in front of him. From where he sits he doesn't see much of the set, cables, and weird metal constructions standing in his way. On the screen, he can see just fine the warm yellow of the fake walls and the shelves. The set looks exactly how he imagined the room for his main character to be.

The small, yellow room will be playing in a huge role. It's a place where the main character will discover himself, live through his fears and biggest happiness. There are so many small pieces that slowly make more and more sense as the story progresses until it all hits you in the face at the end.

"And?" A deep voice asks almost too close to Jimin's ear.

He turns around, eyes tearing away from the screen to come face to face with a red-haired man with a boxy smile, looking at him unexpectedly.

"And what?" Jimin asks, confused and a little scared.

The guy jumps on the balls of his feet, looking at Jimin with starry eyes, "How do you like the room?"

"Oh! I love it," Jimin smiles, still unsure who he is even talking to.

"Really?!" The man screams, catching the attention of few people nearby. "Oh my God!" He whispers in a shaky voice.

"Are you okay?" Jimin asks, getting worried when the man's eyes suddenly get glassy.

The man nods, "It's just- Ah!" He fans his eyes. "I'm a huge fan, and this book means so much. And it's such an honor to be working on those sets."

Jimin can't hold back a smile, "I'm happy to hear that." He says softly, getting emotional as well.

The man nods along, swallowing loudly as if he is close to crying, "When Jungkook offered me to work on this movie, I couldn't believe-"

He feels like an asshole but the second he hears that name he gets tunnel vision, annoyance sparkling inside of him like a broken cord splattered with water. They were having such a lovely conversation. Of course, Jungkook destroys everything.

"What's your name?" Jimin asks, trying to pull himself out of the rage building up inside of him.

"Jung Hoseok!" Hoseok smiles at Jimin. "I've been a set designer for a few years now"

Hoseok is surely a lively figure, obviously very excited about his work, and a fan of Jimin. Well, he can only hope to make some friends here so he won't be only consumed by thoughts of Jungkook as he sits in this pretty uncomfortable chair for months.

"How old are you?"

"Maybe a little older than you!" Hoseok announces with a smile.

Jimin smiles back, "Let's be friends" He holds back a laugh as Hoseok nods along, getting more and more starry-eyed.

"Hoseok, the director is looking for you!" Someone screams over the crowd.

Hoseok's smile falls, "Oh, shit!" He chuckles, looking a bit panicked. "I'll be going." And with that he takes off, pushing between people, begging them to move.

Jimin frowns, very not enjoying the way people seem to be scared of Jungkook. And for what?  They could fight him. Jimin surely wishes he could.

Romantic comedies surely trivialized many things in life, but Jimin doesn't think he will forgive them for the way they made working on a set seem so easy, and fun. By the end of the first day Jimin's head is pounding from hours spent looking at the screen, trying to zone out from the never ending chaos the second the scene is cut, and to add to his misery there was never-ending babbling from Jeon fucking Jungkook himself.

You would think Jimin has his own space, and you would be wrong just like he was. The second the scene was done, Jimin was completely crowded with so many people, he couldn't even count. Of course, Jungkook and his whiny mouth were there, always not liking something, anything. Jimin starts to wonder if Jungkook thinks it's cool to not like stuff and act all mighty.

He got sent away the second they decided to end for the day. Any other day he would tape himself to the chair and fight for his right to stay there to the very last second but today, he took the offer. And he isn't the only one.

The plans change pretty fast. One second Jimin is trying to call a taxi to get him back home, and in the next one, he is piled up in someone's car with Hoseok and the two main actors themselves, on his way for drinks. Jimin just couldn't deny such an opportunity, plus he didn't want to seem like a stuck up, rude author.
