Fighting or Flirting ?

It's not a secret that Jimin loves to fight with Jungkook about the pettiest of things, he loves it. It's like a free opportunity to say something that chokes Jungkook up. Jimin would say it's becoming a form of hobby, and in a way, he feels like he might actually miss it once they will part ways.

The thing is, Jimin isn't especially a brave gay. He's kind of shy, he doesn't have too much romantic or sexual experience with men since he spent his high school years trying to understand why he felt so hot watching one of his childhood friends play basketball but didn't feel things when a girl showed him her boobs. In a way, he knew but it took a while to fully accept.

But he is a flirt, especially if he is in a mood where he feels good with himself. Frankly, he doesn't feel too good often on the set, with dust from moving sets sticking to him, and eye bags deeper than his weird four in the morning search history. Yet, sometimes he likes to enjoy a nice, friendly flirt. He mainly does that with Hoseok, who gives back the same energy.

And sometimes his flirty energy slips into his petty fights with Jungkook. He doesn't know how it happens and often doesn't realize what he is doing, simply trying to argue with Jungkook about things that don't even matter.

It's Namjoon who points it out over lunch, mouth full, "So, you and Jungkook are finally moving on?"

Jimin gives him a questioning sound, trying to swallow down his sushi before he will speak, "From what?"

Namjoon shrugs, looking around the dining area, "From pretending you don't like each other."

Jimin can't stop a groan, his eyes rolling to the back of his skull, "Not you too."

"What?" Namjoon asks, observing Jimin as he goes for another bite, trying his best to not get red.

Why does he feel so flustered? That's ridiculous.

"Director and I hate each other. I regret that I picked him," Jimin states in a true PR tone.

Namjoon snorts, laughing, almost falling off the flimsy chair, "I can't believe this."

Jimin watches the screenwriter with lifted eyebrows, giving people around the apologetic, awkward smiles when they turn around to see who is making so much noise. "What is so funny about it?" Jimin asks although he thinks that he knows the answer.

Once Namjoon finally calms down, he simply takes his chopsticks back into his hand, waving Jimin off, "Nothing."

"No," Jimin says stubbornly. He hates when people sway away from answering a question. "Just tell me."

He gets a long, judging look before Namjoon finally looks away, sighing. He takes a piece of sushi into his mouth, acting like Jimin isn't burning his eyes into the side of his face, slowly chewing before he speaks again.

"You really don't realize how hard you are flirting with him?" Namjoon asks, sounding like he doesn't believe Jimin's act one bit.

Jimin looks at him in shock, his jaw almost hitting the table, "I'm doing what?"

"Oh, come on now," Namjoon smirks at him. "You get him so riled up about the dumbest shit, and then you flirt with him. I would say to just ask him out, I have a feeling he would agree."

"You are insulting me if you think I would ever, ever lay my hand on-"

Namjoon stops him, "Actually," He starts. "You do lay your hands on him, all the time." When Jimin scrunches his hand in disgust Namjoon lays his hand on Jimin's shoulder. "Direction-nim," He says in a coy tone, his hand slowly sliding down Jimin's arm, purposefully pressing where his muscles are. "You can take the last piece of cake, since you don't have any of your own."

Jimin surely goes red now . He can lie to himself all he wants but he sure did that, and he did this because he was curious what Jungkook hides under those clothes. It was a second of curiosity, not flirting .

"Do I really speak like that?" Jimin asks, gawking on his bottom lip.

Namjoon hums in agreement, batting his eyelashes, "But only to Director-nim ."

Does he really?

Jimin can no longer watch Jungkook almost slide off his dumb chair.

It's almost three in the morning, and they are still on the set. Jimin is not feeling his best, he is tired and wants to wrap it up but Jungkook just doesn't want to. He said he is in his zone and they won't leave until the scene is done.

It doesn't seem like they will leave any time soon, not with Jungkook almost falling asleep, or even falling asleep in the middle of the cut.

Jimin is mad, angry, and annoyed.

Jungkook  is not taking care of himself and he hates that he has to be the one who will do it for him. He can't believe it.

Jimin taps his foot in no particular rhyme, angrily eyeing the coffee machine standing in a hallway, watching the dark, hot liquid slowly filling up the cup. He can't believe that he has to be the one to save the director from falling asleep. Why can't anyone else have an eye on him and make sure he is doing fine?

Why is it always Jimin passively handing him drinks or food? Jungkook is an enemy, he should be in the furthest corner, not carrying a single thing about how he is doing.

Still, he angrily rushes back on the set, the cup almost burning his hand. He makes his way to Jungkook's chair, his fluffy head of black hair slowly lulling to the side in the middle of a scene. Usually, Jimin would definitely care more to not make any sound but now he just can't. He stomps his way right into Jungkook's face, eyebrows furrowed in anger.

"Hey, you-" Jimin says, stopping once he can see Jungkook's face. Jungkook is not even watching the scene. His eyes are closed, his mouth is slightly parted as he breathes slowly.

Jimin snaps out of his anger just for a split second, trying to suppress his betraying brain from any thoughts about Jungkook's look or his cuteness .

"Yah!" Jimin hisses, patting Jungkook's cheek, the roundness of it bouncing under Jimin's hand. "Wake up!"

Jungkook's eyes slowly open, a sweet smile growing on his lips. Jimin's stupid heart skips a beat but that doesn't matter, what matters is the stupid director falling asleep.

Jungkook still smiles as Jimin, clearly not fully awake, his eyes barely open.

"Hi," Jungkook says in a deep voice that makes something inside of Jimin light up. "You're still here?"

Jimin tilts his head to the side, raising an eyebrow, "Where else would I be?" He asks coldly. The way Jungkook looks at him is starting to make him feel weird so he pushes the coffee cup forward. "It's my movie after all." He states.

Jungkook looks a bit confused, finally taking his eyes off of Jimin to look around. Suddenly he snaps up, raising in the chair, hands flying to his face, swiping in the corner of his mouth, and rubbing his eyes.

"Take the cup before it burns off my hand," Jimin says, wanting to leave as soon as possible.

"Oh," Jungkook's eyes land on the cup. "I didn't know you got a new position." He jabs at Jimin.

Jimin rolls his eyes, "Only position you will see me in." He forces the cup closer, giving Jungkook barely a second to grab it before he lets go of the cup.

Jungkook looks at him in shock, face going unnaturally pink, "Yah!" He screams after Jimin.

"I said what I said!" Jimin screams back, completely ignoring they are in the middle of the movie set.

The scene stops, everyone's eyes are on them but by now it's a regular schedule while working with them.

Jimin goes back to his seat feeling a little bit hot, trying hard not to think about Jungkook. Still, he secretly takes a look to see if Jungkook is drinking the goddamn coffee. When he gets caught by Jungkook he simply flips him off, earning a middle finger right back at him.
