I hate you (Do I ?)

Jimin never thought that such an emotional kiss can be good. He always imagined it more like an act of desperation than something that feels even remotely exciting. Like a symbol. But it feels amazing. He should hate the way Jungkook's lips slide over his perfectly, his tongue knows exactly how to curl around Jimin's to make his blood boil. They are pulling on each other, trying to get closer to one another than it's humanly possible.

Suddenly there is loud applause erupting around them. Jimin jumps away with a scream, taking one too many steps behind, tripping on a cord. Somebody catches him but he doesn't even register it. His eyes are still on Jungkook, standing in the spotlight, fringe in his eyes, lips bruised, chest rising rapidly.

"Director-nim! You should be an actor!" Taehyung screams, clapping his hands and laughing. Next to him, Seokjin is red from laughing, tears streaming down his cheeks.

Jimin doesn't feel like laughing, more like running somewhere where only Jungkook can see him because right now he feels like Jungkook knows exactly what's on Jimin's mind. He pushes himself upwards, thanking whoever saved him from falling before he ducks off the set, trying to find a moment of peace.

Feelings are bubbling up to the surface that he has been hiding for months, too much of a coward to think about them. He isn't stupid but he sure is stubborn and it's easy to pretend you don't like someone than to accept your feelings and coming to a sad conclusion that whoever you like will never like you back. This is a burned bridge since they first came face to face. Of course, there is room for improvement, they have been doing pretty well lately but Jimin has sat on a crush like this for years before and he doesn't want a repeat from that.

The moment of peace doesn't last very long, soon Jimin can hear steps following him. He wants to duck somewhere but there is nowhere to hide.

"Jimin-ah," He can hear a deep voice calling after himself.

Jimin draws his shoulder closer to his ears, drowning in embarrassment and with a deep need to run away but with every quicker step, he can hear the steps behind him speed up. Since when is he Jimin-ah ?! Probably the second they made out but what does he know about that stuff.

In the end, Jungkook catches up to him, laying his hand on Jimin's shoulder to turn him around, "Are you okay?" Jungkook asks right away before he is even fully face to face with Jimin.

Jimin nods quickly, unable to choke out a single syllable. Interacting with Jungkook was so much easier before he could feel his saliva drying on his lips, a warm tingling all over his lips and tongue.

Jungkook doesn't't look like he believes him if the concern on his face is anything to go by, "Did I-" He gulps down air. He looks cute like this, all breathless and awkward. "Did I go too far?" Jimin has never felt this strong of a need to deny something. "I'm sorry," Jungkook keeps talking, not giving Jimin time to respond.

"That was so fucked up, I shouldn't have kissed you," Jungkook finishes, sounding very remorseful.

"But I was the one who kissed you," Jimin says dumbly, speaking before he thinks about it. Mentally he gives himself the biggest facepalm of his life.

This is why Jimin doesn't do crushes, he always ends up making a complete clown out of himself. The way Jungkook looks every bit sorry about the kiss hurts, just a tiny, tiny bit. A tiny sword on the side of Jimin's entire fucking body. Ouch.

"No," Jungkook furrows his brows, speaking very slowly. "I kissed you."

"Why would you kiss me?" Jimin, stop speaking - he thinks as he keeps on speaking. "I was the one who pulled you in." He states like it's the most obvious thing.

Jungkook looks about ready for a fight, definitely more ready than he was when he was supposed to be angry, "Maybe, but I was the one who kissed you."

They stand there in silence for a bit. For some stupid reason, Jimin has no plans to drop it and it doesn't look like Jungkook is about to give one to Jimin. There is a lot of tension, the same tension that has been hanging over their heads for months. It's making Jimin a little breathless, his heart speeding up and shameful thoughts on his mind.

This time around, Jimin is sure he is the one who cups Jungkook's face and pulls him in for a kiss. But with the way Jungkook goes in easily, sliding their lips together at the same time Jimin tries to, they might have to fight about it again.

This is stupid and Jimin shouldn't be doing that but he doesn't even think for a second about stopping, and neither does Jungkook. Jimin's back hit a wall making him whimper in surprise.

"I hate you," He breathes into Jungkook's mouth, who simply laughs straight into the kiss.

"I believe you," Jungkook says between chased kisses, chest pressed fully against Jimin's. "Not like I'm in love or anything."

Jimin gasps, eyes flying wide open, his heart beating in a speed possibly faster than F1 cars, "What?" He manages to ask right before Jungkook dives back in, pushing his tongue between Jimin's lips.

Jimin can't get enough, pulling Jungkook closer whenever he feels like he might be trying to move away. It's overwhelming in the best possible way. The only way Jimin can explain what he feels would be the feeling of your crush hugging you, just ten thousand times better. He has lungs full of Jungkook's scent, body warm with the warmth Jungkook is sharing, hands full of that ridiculously soft hoodie he always wanted to touch.

When Jungkook finally pulls away Jimin travels right after him, making him chuckle before he feels soft, chaste hisses all over his lips and face. "I told you, enemies to lovers is better than friends to lovers," Jungkook mumbles, lips pressed over Jimin's cheek.
