The group finally reached Julie's school and ran to the auditorium. They run through the doors, and Reggie shouts, "Julie, we are ready to rock this dance," The four stop in the middle of the room when they notice it's empty, "Which is clearly over."
Luke turns around, looking for Julie, while Reggie exhales sharply as he looks around. When Alex and Beverly notice the girl, he nudges Luke, who turns around and sees Julie sitting on the floor. Reggie looks at Luke and turns to see what the boy is looking at.
Julie stands up, putting her hands in her pockets and giving them unimpressed looks. The four ghosts walk forward as Luke says, "Look, we are... so, so sorry that we bailed on you."
Alex looks at the girl and agrees, "Yeah, I mean, the night really got away from us."
"And the dancing," Reggie adds out of the corner of his mouth. Luke turns to Reggie and hits his shoulder, giving him a 'shut up' look as the raven-haired boy gives Luke a 'what?' look.
Julie sighed and looked between them, begging, "Just please tell me it had nothing to do with you getting back at Carrie's dad."
Reggie and Alex look at each other as Luke says, "Pfft! Of course not. No. No."
At the same time, Reggie denies in a high-pitched voice, "No! We wouldn't do that."
Alex looks at Julie, also saying in a high-pitched voice at the same time as the other two ghosts, "Us? No."
Beverly could not tell a lie but her lips before saying, "It did." She blurted out, making the guys look at her. "What? You guys know I'm a horrible liar."
