The Dragon in Distress

Marina POV

But before we could activate it, a metal board flew up from the ground and hit Kreel's mech. It fell to the ground and Sora screeches our mech to a halt before the dust covers the metal board. When it cleared, Sora gasped when she saw a baby dragon that had just appeared on the finishing line.

"Sora, go!" Arin said. "We're so close!"

"What is going on?" I asked.

"We gotta go after that dragon," Sora said.

"What?" Arin asked. "We need to win this race!"

"Those dragon hunters are the Claws of Imperium." Sora explained. "If they catch that dragon ... the things they'll do to him. Trust me, we have to stop them, Guys. Arin, what would the ninja do?" 

"Sora, you said that Imperium runs on dragon power, and they want to hunt them down," I said. "The Claws of Imperium will probably catch that dragon and use its power. I agree. Arin?"

"Let's save that dragon!" Arin said finally. So we blast off away towards the dragon. I could see that the Claws of Imperium hit the baby dragon with a blast. The baby dragon fell to the ground. We quickly arrived, got the baby dragon to get on to our mech, and then ran away from the Claws of Imperium. I could see that there are a bunch of Claws of Imperium chasing us and start to blast lasers at us.

"Uh, looks like we're in another race." Arin said.

"Then good thing we've still got that turboboost ready to go." Sora said. She presses the turboboost button, but nothing works. She pushes it again, but the mech goes out of control and falls from a bridge. It broke into pieces and all three of us were falling, including the dragon.

"What's happening?" I asked.

"This was not supposed to happen!" Sora screamed. The baby dragon bumps into her and powers her up. I could see that a white power came out of its mouth and goes into Sora's chest, making her eyes glow. 

"Sora?" I asked.

"Marina?" Sora replied. Suddenly, her hands started to glow pink, and so was all the pieces of our mech. She moved her hands, and the pieces form into a new mech. She gets into it and I quickly hold Arin by the waist as he uses his grappling hook. 

What was happening? That glow does look like... powers?

Anyway, Sora flies the new mech towards the bridge while Arin and I hold on. After she landed the mech, I heard a Claw of Imperium say, "That's different than it was before, right?"

"How did you do all this?" Arin asked.

"Yeah, with nothing but your hands?" I asked.

"I honestly do not know." Sora replied as Arin drops me onto the ground. "But now's not the time for questions. It's the time for ..." I watch as they fly upwards. 

"Woo hoo!" Arin cheered. " Now it's my turn." He leaps off the mech and swings on his grappling hook line. "Self-trained wannabe ninja without a master, go!" He does a strange yellow spin thing but was hit by a blaster while doing so. Luckily, he makes a perfect landing. 

"Eh, close enough," Arin said. "Hey, Marina, watch out!" I quickly turned around and saw a Claw of Imperium pointing his blaster at me. Before I could move out of the way, the Claw hunter blasts a laser at me, but instead of hitting me, it went... through me?

 I closed my eyes as I feel a big strong of power flow to me. I don't know what was happening, but when I swing my arms and stretch them forward, it disappeared. When I opened my eyes...

BOOM!

The Claw of Imperium that had shot the laser at me was lying on the floor.

"Woah!" Arin said. "How did you do that?"

"I don't know!" I said. "What happened?" "The Claw of Imperium shot a laser at you, and after the laser went right through you, your eyes and hands were glowing purple, and when you did that arm thing, the laser came out of you and took out the Claw of Imperium!" Arin replied. "Its it like a type of power?"

"I have no idea," I replied. "But maybe both Sora and I have powers," "And I taught myself Spinjitzu!" Arin added.

"Wait," I said. "Is that what that yellow spin thing was called?" "Yeah," Arin replied. "Then I guess all three of us have abilities,"

Just then, a guy with a tiger like face came out of the sky with a shockwave that sends all of us including the Claws of Imperium flying.

"Lord Ras! We were just about to —" A man who looks like the general of the Claws of Imperium said, but was cut off by the tiger guy, who picked the man up.

"You failed me." The tiger guy said, "I do not like that." He drops the man down and looks at us.

 Wow! That guy was strong! I had no idea who he was, but I heard the general of the Claws of Imperium call him 'Ras', so I guess that's his name

"Uh, do you know who this guy is?" Arin asked

"No clue." Sora replied.

"Yeah." I replied. "I don't think we have seen him before in Imperium."

"He doesn't seem very nice." Arin said. He does the yellow Spinjitzu again and tries to attack Ras with it but Ras catches his leg. 

"What?" Arin asked. "How'd you —" Ras  slammed him to the ground. He was unconscious.

"Arin!" Sora and I yelled.

I could see that Ras destroyed the mech,  then shoots the baby dragon. Ras then walked towards me. I look around. My friends are down and I saw that the baby dragon was unconscious. I was surrounded by Ras,  the general of the Claws of Imperium, and the whole Claws of Imperium, who pointed their weapons at me. I raise my hands to surrender.

"You win," I said. I watch as Ras walked towards the baby dragon.

"You are just the first." He said.  "Now, I'm going to hunt down your entire family, wherever they are. Put the prisoners on the train. Quickly! I trust you won't have any more problems.

"Yes, Lord Ras." The general of the Claws of Imperium said. "I mean, no, Lord Ras." Ras left through the sky, which is where he had came from.

The Claws of Imperium took Sora out of the mech, then placed yellow handcuffs on her. Then they placed handcuffs on me and Arin. We were then brought to a train that was in a tunnel that was in the ground under the bridge. We were asked to sit down in a train cart as the dragon was brought to another train cart.

Soon, the train was moving very fast. I look at Sora. She looks at me. We had no idea what to do!
