Marina POV
I woke up to the sound of grunting. I sat up, opened my eyes, and looked around. It took me a moment to realise that I was in...
"The Monastery of Spinjitzu?" I asked. Arin walked over to me and said, "Oh good. You're awake,"
"Uh, what happened?" I asked.
"You were glowing purple and when you swung your arms a big wave of energy knocked Empress Beatrix and her army out," Arin replied. "We don't know yet, but you may have unlocked your True Potential,"
"But Lloyd said my power was not an Elemental Power," I said. "It's impossible,"
"After what happened, Lloyd said that it may be possible to unlock your True Potential when your power was not an Elemental Power," Arin said. "When we woke up, Empress Beatrix and her army was still out, so we locked them inside those cells in the Imperium prison. You know, the one where their dragons were once in. Then we let their dragons out of Imperium to roam free and took you to the Monastery of Spinjitzu," Sora walked towards us.
"You know," Sora said. "After what you said to Empress Beatrix back there, maybe you're not betraying us. Like me, you had to make hard decisions that wil make your friends betray you,"
"So you're not mad at me?" I asked.
"Nope," Arin said. "Unlocking your True Potential and using them to knock out Empress Beatrix and her army did earned our trust. I still don't get how you got your powers from Imperium. And like you said, why do you need family when you have us as friends?" I smiled.
"Speaking of friends," I said. "Where are the others?"
"They are probably in the new dragon stables," Sora said.
"New dragon stables?" I asked.
"Some of the freed dragons want to stay here." Arin explained. "Even that fire child, who may or may not have burned up Master Wu's old carpet."
"Isn't Master Wu the master of all six ninja?" I asked. "And is Wildfyre the name of that fire child on our side?"
"Yep," Arin said. We walked to the dragon stables and saw Lloyd, Kai, Zane, Nya, and Wildfyre.
"Look who decided to rejoin the living!" Nya said. "Welcome back."
"We got a lot to catch up on." Kai said. "Uh, you hovered and your eyes were all purple and — and you had powers like I've never seen! You knock them out with a movement of your hands."
"I'm still trying to figure it out myself," I said. "But I think i've unlocked my True Potential,"
"We know," Lloyd said. "But I still don't get it."
"Me neither," Kai said. "We had a discussion and thought maybe you could live here for a while or something?"
"I would love that," I said. "In fact, I've been here since our first day of training,"
"Speaking of training," Arin said. "Do you think we should tackle the training course again?"
"Yeah, I guess so," Lloyd said. "After all, you three are still my students and we need to be ready for anything," Lloyd's right. We didn't kill the empress and her army, but we knew that one day they will return.
One day.
