10 years later
The alarm clock was ringing, Abigail reached over and shut it off. She got up from bed and headed to her bathroom. She brushed her hair and put her nose piercing in, then her earrings. She walked back into her bedroom and picked out a white shirt and long jeans.
After she got dressed, she walked to the kitchen and made some coffee. After the coffee was made, she walked to the couch and turned on the television. After a bit, she looked at the clock, it was 8:30, "Guess it's time for work," she grabbed her hoodie and keys and walked out the door. She walked to her truck and unlocked it. She got in and started it, then she put on some music.
While driving, she saw a familiar car parked outside of her work, an Impala 67. She turned into the parking lot of the cafe and parked beside it. She kept on looking at it 'Where have I seen this car before?' She thought to herself. She shrugged it off and walked through the back of the building. "Hey Abby! You're actually on time today!" "I know right, it's a first" "Do you want to take this order? I'm kinda busy right now" "Sure, what is it?" "A black coffee and a water" "Ok, let me put on my apron." After she put her hoodie on the rack, she grabbed her apron and tied it around her waist. She grabbed her name tag from the counter and clipped it to her shirt. She poured coffee into a white mug and poured water into a glass. "Who do these go too?" "Those cute boys sitting at booth 7, warning, when I say cute, I mean cute!" Abigail rolled her eyes and picked both of the drinks up. She walked to the booth and saw the boy's, and she was blushing, "So, who ordered the water?" "That would be me," one of the boy's said, "Ok, so you I guess that means you ordered the coffee" "You know it sweetheart," "she smiled and put the water and coffee down to the boys. Before she could walk away, the blonde boy tapped her shoulder, "I have a question for you" "What's up?" "It's kinda funny, but I feel like we met each other, um," he looks at her name tag, "Abigail! I feel like we've met before" "Oh really? And where could we have met?" "I don't know, but you just look familiar, doesn't she Sammy?" "I have no idea what you're talking about dude," Dean rolled his eyes, "My name is Dean if that could ring a bell." She starts to think I've definitely heard that name before' she looks at him, "What's your last name?" She asks, "Winchester," her eyes lit up, "Winchester?!" "That is my last name" "No, Dean, it's me, Abigail Smith, you and your dad saved me from that sleepover, I think about 16 years ago!" Dean starts to think, then his eyes lit up, "Oh yeah! Your friends didn't say goodbye on that ouija board, didn't you only survive?" "Yeah, wasn't the best night" "I guess not," she looks at her watch, "I have to get back to work, it was nice running into you!" "You too, here, have my number, just in case," he hands her a paper with his number. He gave her a wink, she smiled and walked away, then she walked behind the counter. "You got that guys number?" "Little fun fact for you, I actually know that guy, but I don't know the guy sitting next to him" "Apparently that's his brother" "Wow, those Winchester genes" "I know right, oh hey, that table needs serving" "On it."
Night time came quick, Abigail was extremely tired so she put her apron away and her name tag on the counter. She put on her hoodie and walked out of the door, until her boss came up to her, "Abby, could you stay just for a bit? Just need the floor to be cleaned" "Sure, got nothing else to do" "Thank you, I'll pay you extra, have a good night!" "You too!" After her boss left, she picked up the broom and started to sweep.
After a while, the floor was finally cleaned. She put the broom back and walked out of the cafe. She locked the door and walked to her truck. It was super cold so when she got to her truck, she hoped in fast. She tried to start her truck, but it wouldn't start. "What the fuck?" She turned the key over and over again, but nothing. She was going to call her dad, but she left her phone in the cafe, so she got out of her truck and ran back to the cafe.
After she got her phone, she locked the door again and ran to her truck. She tried to open the door but it was frozen shut, "What the..." she tried her hardest to open the door, but it would budge. When she grabbed onto the handle of the truck one more time, it was extremely hot. She let go instantly and there was a burn mark on her hand. She pulled out her phone and dialled her dad, no answer. She tried again, nothing, straight to voicemail. She looked at her phone and wondered who to call, then it hit her. She pulled the paper out of her pocket and dialled the number.
"Hello?" "Hey Dean, it's Abigail, are you still in town by chance?" "Yeah, what's up?" "Could you come and look at my truck, it's acting funny" "What's going on with it?" "Well, I tried to start it, but it wouldn't start, when I went back to get my phone, I tried to open it, but it's frozen shut- "Is the handle hot?" "Yeah, how did you- "I'm on my way, stay where you are". He hung up the phone, Abigail stood there in the cold waiting for him.
She heard a car's engine, she turned her head and saw the Impala. "What took you so long- "Abigail get in the car, now" "What?" "Just get in the car!" She listened to Dean and hoped in the back. Dean and Sam got out of the car to check the truck. They ran back to the Impala and drove away, "What's wrong with my truck?" She asked, "Look behind you," Dean says. She looks behind her and saw her truck catch on fire, "My truck!" Then the truck exploded, "OH MY GOD!" "I'm sorry Abigail, I'll explain everything, I just need to drop Sam off."
After he explained everything, Sam got out of the car and walked to his dorm, "So that spirit that your dad tried to kill is still alive? I thought you burned the board!" Abigail says, "We did, but forgot to say goodbye, therefore, the spirit is still here" "This doesn't make any sense, I mean, how did- "Oh my god..." "What?" "Sam's dorm is on fire!"
Sam cried in Deans arms, fire fighter ran into the dorms to stop the fire. Sam let go of Dean, tears still running down his face, he looked at the trunk of the car, he looked at all the weapons, "We got work to do." Then they shut the trunk together, "Abigail, you should come with us" Dean says, "What? Why?" "Because of that spirit that is after you, get in." She listens do Dean and gets in the back of the Impala. Dean starts the car and drives off.
Abigail was texting her parents goodbye, she didn't even attempt to call them. She set her phone down and cried herself to sleep...
