Merlin wasn't surprised to find that the knights had questions when they learned about his magic. He was surprised at what some of those questions were. Especially Gwaine's.

"Does this mean you can help me cheat at dice? Hey, you haven't been doing that, have you?"

This furthers a headcanon I developed while reading fanfiction. We don't actually know that Gwaine died. After all, Elyan didn't. Why should Gwaine? Percival was upset, true, but didn't he have a right to be?

The worldbuilding is more consistent if Gwaine is just weak - but survivably so.

Now for why I posted in the first place. My internet access has been spotty of late, so I've been writing down my fanfictions the old fashioned way. Now I'm asking for help in deciding what to transcribe first. This will work as follows:

I will list the options.

I will receive no responses.

I will post each one as I have time and patience and probably receive a couple of comments at that time.

Or alternately, you could leave enthusiastic opinions in the comments section. I'm not holding them ransom though; I learned my lesson on contests and polls in my Hunger Games: Fandom Style story.

So, options:

1. Merlin Through the Ages: Follows Merlin through the centuries after Arthur's death. Mostly canon, lots of crossovers, basically a series of oneshots, and is completed in the sense that it goes up to the time that Arthur returns. I still have plenty more ideas, though.

2. Happy Birthday: An alternate ending to Camlann opens the door to fluff on Arthur's birthday two years later. Oneshot.

3. Albion: An AU where the prophecy is fulfilled. Complete.

4. It Ain't Over Till the Fat Lady Sings: In other words, don't give up on them till the end. Partial reveal, oneshot.

5. Bunker Nine: After Arthur's return, he examines Merlin's bookshelf . . . and finds the books on Arthurian legend. Completion Status: . . . It's complicated.

6. Family Tree: Post reveal, Arthur realizes that tracing Merlin's family tree may have been a really bad idea.

7. Finding Merlin: A slightly crack vision of what happens when Merlin goes missing not for days, not for weeks, but for months. Everyone is looking. Everyone.

I've more ideas than I know what to do with, but those are already written, just not on my computer. Thoughts?
