Chapter 12- The Ceremony

"Come on! Just say it!"

The Maitlands walk into the Attic when they see Levi standing over the model, about to say Betelgeuse's name. They yell in fear and ran over to stop it. Levi turns around and yell in fear when seeing Barbara. He bumps into Adam and screams even more.

"Say it!" Betelgeuse slips off the roof into the ground.

Levi turns around and Y/n appears in front of him, trying to calm him down. Levi saw her and hugs her, both happy and relived that she is ok. "It's okay. It's us. What's going on?" Y/n calms him. Barbara turns back to herself and walks next Y/n when Levi lets go and Adam slowly tries returning to himself.

"Beetle-" Y/n shushes him. "He said if I let him out he wouldtake me over to the other side to find you." The girls shakes their heads.

"No, Levi, we're dead." Barbara says.

"I want to be dead, too." Levi says looking down and starts playing with the bunny he has.

"Levi. Being dead doesn't make things any easier." Barbara says with sympathy in his eyes.

"Listen to her on this Levi. This is something we know a lot about." Adam who still struggles to get back to his normal form says.

"And you can visit us anytime you want. I have a feeling things are going to be better from now on." Y/n says grabbing Levi's hand that doesn't have the bunny. Levi looks down at their hands,

"What do you mean, better?" Levi questions looking back up.

"We've decided we're going to invite you and your family to stay." Barbara says while Adam walks to the other side of Y/N, looking normal except for his nose which makes it look like a beak. Levi laughs at the site and Adam pushes it back to normal.

Levi then looks at Y/n who keeps a smile on her face. "I guess you were the reason with the sudden change of heart? Am I right?" Y/n starts blushing and starts to look anywhere that is not Levi.

"I might just kinda have a reason why." Levi smirks at her and interlock their hands together.

Suddenly, they head footsteps coming up the attic and hide. "Charles, Can't we bring Maxie up here?" Otho questions following Charles.

"You've got a stake in this, too." Charles replies. "This is a presentation. It requires a sense of occasion, a sense of style. It's so big. How will we get it out?" Charles unplugs the light and leans down.

"It's sectional. Get it from both ends." Otho points out.

"Wait, there are plugs."

"Careful!"

"Okay, go!" They carried off with the sections.

"What's going on?" Adam asked.

"I don't know. I'll find out." Levi gets up to leave, but Y/n holds on to his hand.

"Be careful." Y/n says and Levi smiles at her before leaving.

"We have Ed Cornwell lead the wax museum dedicated to 50 great moments of the paranormal, here in Thanksgiving Park. Now you must remember Ed. He's the genius who gave us the talking Marcel Marceau statue, it was a sensation. And D-Con is on its knees to sponsor the insect zoo, here in the old hardware store. We can't lose!" Charles presents and Delia was the only one clapping.

Levi walks down the stairs and stands next to Charles giving him a glare. "Levi, you decided to join us. I just finished the initial presentation and now I think it's time to have a stretch and to invite our friends to meet your friends." Charles put is arm around him while Levi still glares at him.
