Chapter 13

Jacob's POV

I looked at the road for some more time. Renesmee had just woken up and decided to leave. She called her dad in the morning, asking to leave, with no reason.

Maybe she felt pressured into kissing me last night. But that kiss... it was magical. She made every bit of the kiss magical. I wish I was also had my first kiss with her.

I wanted to kiss her all night long. Mary had asked if Renesmee was the girl I imprinted on. She was in the kitchen making pancakes for me and her.

"Hey, Jake!" I heard a very familiar voice call from behind me. I turned around to find Jared, Quil, Paul, Seth, and Embry standing in a horizontal line.

I haven't seen this guy in one week. They hadnt changed that much. Yeah sure they got taller and buffer, but no extreme changes.

"Heya Guys. Howz it?" I walked over to them, giving them a bear hug.

"We're good man. Hey, why is Renesmee going?" Embry asked after I hugged him. But I knew everyone was also wondering.

"To be honest guys, I really don't know. One moment we are happy, and the next thing she calls her Dad to come fetch her with no valid reason.

"The all looked shocked and confused.
"Have you told her yet that you imprinted on her?" Seth broke the silence, with a heart striking question.

"I was gonna tell her today after we had gone to Claire's Birthday Party. I had organized a date for us." They all started making goog eyes and making love faces.

"Maybe, that is why. Maybe she realized that you will imprint one day and she thought she wasn't the one." Paul had a valid assumption. It seemed logical.

"Did you at least tell her you love her?" Seth asked with real concern.
"Well not really. We kissed." I bit my lip remembering the moment.

"Then I really don't know." Quil input in the conversation. We all went quit. We then heard a wolf howl in the far distance. We all knew who it was. We ran toward the forest. I started removing my clothing, I jumped and transformed.

Pack meeting. NOW! Sam sounded very angry.

What is it now? Claire's Party starts in exactly 10 minutes. What could not wait till after the party?
Quil didn't like this one bit. We all finally reached the clearing, where Sam was, pacing.

We have a problem.
He stoped pacing and faced us. We looked more scared than anything now. I -the other Alpha- moved closer to him, waiting for him to continue.

I was running petrol as usually, when I came across a new scent.
Leah moved forward from behind a rock.

The scent was a mixture. It was Renesmee's, two nomad werewolves and another vampire. Not like the bloodsuckers we know, like the Cullen's.

Leah still didn't like the Cullen's but she didn't hate them.
The trail came from your house, Jacob.

She looked at me from the corner of het eye.

What was the scent doing at my house and why is it mixed with Renesmee's?

I was so confused, I started pacing.

I don't know why. Follow me I will lead you to the trail, we can follow it and see where it leads us.

We didn't wait to discuss we were off.
