Five Nights and Reid Collide (TBP and FNAF fanfic)

Miranda

* Miranda's POV *

I get onto Facebook and see Reid's name is lit up in chat which makes me smile. I message him that I am sorry for what I said earlier and I want to talk. He doesn't answer so I tell him if he is sleeping it is fine. When he does reply I find it isn't even him.

"Hey Miranda, this is Neil."

At first I'm relieved; I love Neil to pieces as he is pretty much my brother. However, I'm also mad because who knows what he has seen or read; Reid is very personal on here and he is that way cause he knows his siblings don't get on a lot and won't see most of it.

"Neil Clark Perry what are you doing on Reid's account? Where is he and you better not have been reading our conversation! I thought you were better that that Neil." I send angrily, yet saddened.

I am really worried about Reid mostly cause he said he wanted to run away and come home to be with me and his parents.

"Look Miranda, I was reading Reid's messages he sent to you. It made me feel awful knowing we made him feel that bad and Kimberly knows it too. Reid is gone and we don't know where he is. We've tried getting a hold of him but there's nothing. I feel awful and you have no idea what we're going through!" Neil sends me angrily. But when I read the last line I know he is probably feeling torn apart.

"Neil bud, I'm so sorry! I didn't know! Where is he, is he in trouble? I told him not to run off from you guys; is that what he did?" I send in a panic. The three dots go up and down for a while, and when Neil finally replies it only worries and upsets me more.

"We don't know Miranda. We've called at least 10 times each, texted him, Facebook messaged him and even DMed him on Twitter but there is absolutely no sign that he's even been online in the two days he's been gone." Neil says.

I sit there for a while, totally dumbfounded and upset. I decide I have to call him right now so I can dig into him for more answers. So I run out of bed and grab my phone and find Neil's number, which to be honest I have not called in forever.

"Hey bud!" I say when he answers.

"Miranda I can't really talk right now. Kimberly is downstairs and if she hears me talking to someone she will probably think it's Reid, and I can't tell her the truth and let her down again; I can't see her disappointment anymore!" Neil cries into the phone. He sounds terrible, angry and in pain.

"Neil please, I need to know all I can so I can help find him!" I beg, starting to cry. He sighs sadly and whispers into the phone.

"Fine, just hang on."

I hear some shuffling and a door close and finally he talks at a normal level.

"Miranda, I've told you everything." he says.

"But Neil I can't sit here knowing my best friend in the whole world is missing and not answering anybody!!" I yell. I live alone thankfully so I can scream at Neil if I have too.

"Miranda, I don't know what to say...." he says quietly into the phone. I don't either.

"Neil, I'm coming to stay with you guys." I say. He sighs and tells me I can't and that they don't need me there. I start crying; I can't help it! Neil stops talking when he hears me crying. I hate crying in front of people and I know he's never heard me cry before.

"Miranda I am so sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry! I'm so sorry. I made Kimmy cry earlier too...." I hear him sob softly. It only makes my cries of grief louder.

"Neil I just want to be there for support for you two...." I whisper. Altogether his crying stops and he pauses.

"Come?" he asks out of the blue. I stop crying too, surprised he said that.

"What Neil.... you mean it?" I ask.

He quietly laughs and says "Yea I do. Can you please come here? I'm sorry I said you couldn't..... I don't know why I said that. I think Kimberly could use your support, and me too. Please?" I sit there for a minute to take it all in. Neil must think I am not convinced, for he speaks up again.

"Kimberly is taking this so hard Beans; she looks like she has aged 20 years and she has been crying all day. I'm sure seeing a familiar face will make things easier."

I chuckle quietly when he says the childhood nickname Reid's family gave me, Beans.

Reid and I were huge jumping beans and made our parents sigh sometimes because we would never stop moving around. They called Reid Jumping Bean and me Beans.

I look up from my tears and say, "Well that depends on where you are."

Neil sighs and says "We are in Reid's house. Our parents kicked us out of their house because of what we caused Reid to run away. Please come Miranda, I need an old friend to hug." I am surprised that he went from angry to needy in the blink of an eye.

"I guess so bud. I will be there ASAP, okay?" He sighs happily and whispers "Thank you Beans."

I smile and say in return, "You're welcome bud. I'm going to change and I will be right there." I hang up the phone and run into my closet, ripping my PJ's off and throwing on skinny jeans and one of Reid's old T-shirts he gave to me as a memory.

Before I can leave I have to check on someone. I run out to my barn and check on my horses, Aspen my grullo mustang mare, Pioneer my buckskin mustang mare for whom I am pretty sure their song and album was named for, and Benny my huge Thoroughbred gelding. And someone else; Romeo. I am watching him for Reid while he, Kimberly and Neil are gone. I ride him all the time and have even shown him a few times.

They run to the fronts of their stalls, surprised to see me at this late hour. They perk their ears forward, excited to see what I am doing in the barn. I smile and pet each one and tell them that I will be back.

"The neighbors will feed you, be good! I am mostly talking to you Romeo." I say when I am about to leave. I glare at him and he pins his ears back. He knows he is a bad boy sometimes.

I leave my house after saying goodnight to them and I call my neighbors while I am on the way to Kimberly and Neil, telling them it is an emergency and asked them if they could feed the horses. They say yes with no questions asked and I hang up only to be greeted by silence for the rest of the ride.
