* Kimberly's POV *

"Neil, wake up." I say as I shake my little brother's shoulder. He moans and holds onto me harder. "No, I don't want to." he mumbles. I sigh and push him off the couch. He falls with a thud, causing me to laugh.

He sits up and rubs his head. "You're mean sis." he mumbles. I laugh and say "Well I told you to move but you didn't, so I made you move." He rolls his eyes and stands up.

"Whoa, it's like, really late!" Neil gasps. I rub my eyes and stand up to go next to him. "Oh yea? What time is it then?" I ask.

"Like, 2 in the afternoon!" he says. "I'm gonna go find Miranda."

"Kay." I say. He scampers off up the stairs while I go into the kitchen to make some lunch since it looks like Miranda hasn't touched a thing.

Neil is up there for a while. Suddenly I hear a scream and he comes thundering down the stairs.

"Kim, Miranda is missing!!" he says with tears just pouring out of his eyes. I drop the stuff I was

holding and run to him. What on earth do you mean?!?" I ask fearfully.

"I went upstairs and first checked Reid's room, but she wasn't in there! So I went around the entire upstairs but she was just nowhere!!" Neil cries.

"Whoa Neil, take a step back. She could be downstairs or just out running errands!" I say. Neil shakes his head and looks at me with wide eyes.

"No, I saw her truck there in the driveway from Reid's window upstairs. I tried calling her but her phone went straight to voicemail each time! All of her things are here too!" he rattles off without taking a breather.

I'm starting to believe him now. "Well, check downstairs while I check around here." Neil nods and goes racing down the stairs. I start calling out Miranda's name and walking around the ground level, but she's truly nowhere to be found.

Neil and I regroup after looking and start to panic. He puts his head in his hands and looks like he's about to fall apart at my feet.

"I can't believe it; first Reid goes missing and now Miranda?!? This can NOT be happening!" Neil cries. I nod and start crying. We cry for a little while until I finally gather myself back together.

Me being a snoop, I come up with a plan. "Neil, let's go look around Reid's room and see if there are any clues at all. There's got to be something, Miranda wouldn't just abandon us like this." Neil agrees and we both climb the stairs and go into Reid's room.
