* Reid's POV *

I open my eyes and look around. I'm in my room, laying in the middle of the floor. I cough up more blood and start to choke. I gasp for air and shut my eyes, thinking I'm going to die.

I hear a bunch of running coming from my stairs, and suddenly my siblings burst through the door.

"REID OH MY GOSH!" Kimberly screams. She runs to my side with tears in her eyes. Neil follows her, and they both collapse at my side and grab my hands in theirs. I start to cry as I look at their faces. I've missed them so much.

"Reid, oh my gosh, you look so horrible!!" Kimberly cries. She holds my cut up face in her hands, and tears fall down her face. I cry too because I know I look terrible.

"We've got to get him to the hospital NOW." Neil says. Kimberly nods and they both start to pick me up by my arms and legs. I scream in pain, which makes them stop.

"Miranda...?" I mumble. I want to know where she is... she couldn't have been left behind.

Kimberly and Neil look at each other fearfully. "Please..." I whisper. Kim and Neil leave my side and leave my room. I just hope they're looking for Miranda.

They come back in and lift me up. I wince in pain as they carry me down my stairs and into my truck. They lay me in the back seat and then shut the door. I try to speak, but I only end up coughing more blood up. Kimberly cries in the passenger seat, and Neil backs out and tries to keep himself together.

He drives for what feels like a while. I close my eyes and relax as the road shakes me around gently.

When I open my eyes I'm in a hospital bed. I'm being wheeled around, and Neil is with me. I look at him and he looks back at me.

"You're safe now brother, I promise." Neil says. He strokes my head and then lets go of my hand. I look at him again as he stops and I'm wheeled away from him.

"N-n-n-o." I say. The nurses all around me shush me and try to help me relax, but I want my brother. "N-Neil." I whisper.

"Your brother will see you when you come out of surgery. Just relax hun." a female nurse says to me. She places a mask over my mouth and nose so I breathe in whatever they want me to. I struggle and shake my head, but soon my eyes droop and I fall asleep.

"Reid... Reid?" I hear Kimberly ask. I open my eyes and look around, but I can't see anything; it's all fuzzy.

I feel someone touching me and writing something down. "It looks like he's waking up." I hear a man say. "Just give him some time and he'll be able to focus on you two and start talking with you."

"Okay, thank you doctor." Neil mumbles. The door closes after that, and then I feel someone grab my hands.
