Five Nights and Reid Collide (TBP and FNAF fanfic)

A Plan in Mind

* Miranda's POV *

Kim, Neil and I are in the living room chatting when I hear my ringtone. At first I ignore it out of habit, but then I remember that Reid could call any time and I scream "SHUT UP REAL QUICK!" and scare the crap out of poor Kimberly. She glares at me but I am already running to the front to grab my phone.

I reach it, answer it, and when Reid says my name I scream "REID IT'S YOU OH MY GOSH!!" He just kinda laughs tiredly and says "Yes, yes it is Miranda. Thanks for giving me a random hearing test." in a sarcastic and tired tone. I make a face while he says something else.

"Hey Miranda, are you close to my siblings? Can you drive over to my parents' house and let me talk to them?" he asks in a weird tone.

I stay quiet for a little, trying to think over what I'm going to tell him. "Reid, I have something to tell you." I say quietly. "What is it Miranda?" he asks in a very nervous voice.

"I'm with your siblings in your house." I tell him. "Your parents kicked them out after what they did to you, and your siblings asked me to come stay with them."

He's pretty quiet before he says "Oh...." Then he says, "Well, are they awake? Can I talk to them please?"

I don't give him an answer; I simply leave the kitchen and hand the phone to Kimberly. She gives me an odd look, but I just raise my eyebrows and wrap her fingers around the phone. She kind of gets the idea of who it is now.

"Reid?" she asks quietly. Neil stands up and leaves with his head in his hands before Kimberly can say anything else to Reid.

I stand back from Kimberly to give her space while she talks to Reid. She puts the phone on speaker though so I can hear everything Reid tells her. To be honest, most of it breaks my heart.

Then I hear it; Reid tells her about how he even got into the game in the first place.

"So he found the glitch for Night 8?" I ask myself while they talk some more. I myself have played through the whole game and I've even beaten 4/20 mode, but I've never bothered with the Night 8 glitch.

What my best friends don't know is that I can do quite a lot of 'talented' things. I have my own YouTube channels where I post gaming videos, challenges, and vlogs. On top of all that, I have a secondary channel, which was my first and is still my main account.

There I post speed-drawing videos of my commissions that I sell as my job, plus I do covers of songs on the piano and violin, and I sing just a lil bit. On that account I also post my horses, riding them and my competitions, training, etc. It's so much fun, but I'd never want Reid, Neil or Kimberly to know about them.

"I have to get into the game with Reid to help him out!" I think to myself. "He told us not to touch the game, but like hell I'd do that."

I start building my plan in my head. There's just gotta be a way out without beating the nights. Even if there truly isn't, then I can help him so he doesn't fail. I've played each night of all four games and beat them on every single difficulty or declared 'impossible' mode, so I think I know my shit by now.
