Five Nights and Reid Collide (TBP and FNAF fanfic)

Getting Into Trouble

* Reid's POV *

It's 3:25 in the morning by the time I finish the entire game. "Wow, I can't believe I finished this whole game in a single night!" I say aloud. I tweet about it and I also post a picture of my game with the 2 stars on Instagram. "I'm not that tired yet, I can still mess around." I think to myself.

I click on the custom game button, and when it loads I'm surprised by what it consists of. All of the characters in the game; Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy are listed side by side with numbers underneath them. I curiously tap on the number under Freddy and it goes up by one.

"Oh how cool!" I say once I realize what it's all about. You can change the activity levels of each character to create a custom night. I tap the number to see how high it will go. "Wow, to 20." I mumble when the counter won't go any higher.

I play around with the numbers for a while. I make Foxy's number only 6 because he was a major pest towards the last few nights. I make Bonnie and Chica's AI 9. Lastly I change Freddy's AI to 8, just to see what happens.

I happily click the button to start up the night. I'm eager to see how this changes up the game from the storyline! It loads the same way as any other night. I'm not too worried until I look to my left and see Bonnie peeking his head into the door.

I slam the door shut and let out a tiny scream. I might not get scared by this game, but it's super stressful keeping yourself alive and the animatronics startle me often.

Not long after Chica is in my window being creepy. I shut her out too and sit there in silence, listening to the ambiance. They both leave only to shortly return to suck up my power.

"Grrr" I growl, "Go away!!" I say, slamming down my door into Bonnie's face for the fifth time.

The hours slowly tick away and I am doing pretty well, or so I think I am anyway. Finally the time rings 6m, the kids cheer and it goes back to the start menu. I sigh happily, but I just can't sit right.

"That's the end huh?" I ask the air. "Well I finished it all in one night, I need more!" I say. I know there are 3 other games, but I don't wanna play them tonight because I'll want to finish them all too.

I decide to go online and search for more secrets on this game. After all, they surprised me with the 6th and 7th night, so there could be more that I haven't found yet.

I go to the wikia again and look up the first game. After almost an hour of getting caught up in facts about the other games I finally find what I was looking for.

"Yes! A glitch for an 8th night? Super!" I say excitedly. I know it's just like any other night, but it still sounds fun. I would try to beat 4/20 mode, but I don't have enough energy to take on such a task like that.

"That's for tomorrow!" I say to myself happily.

I finish the 8th night, but nothing happens at the end. That's what I figured, for it's a glitch. But as my computer sits there with a black screen I grow a little concerned. I'm about to power off my computer when the screen flashes and then gets stuck on a white screen.

"What the heck is going on?" I whisper to myself. I tap the screen and it buzzes. "Oh my gosh what the heck?!?" I ask again.

I tap the screen again, but something incredibly strange happens. Instead of being able to pull my finger back after I tapped my screen, my index finger goes through it. I quickly pull it back, and when I do the screen ripples like water does when disturbed. It falls back into a solid state while the white screen blinds me.

I push my computer away and stare at it with wide eyes. Then I look at my finger, which was a little silly because what did I expect to see? It's normal looking, except now it's tingling.

I try shutting my computer off but it refuses. I shut my laptop, and when I open it the white light is still there. I eventually get up to find my pocket knife to unscrew the bottom and take the battery out.

When I do, my laptop remains on. Now I know that something is seriously wrong. Out of curiosity I sit the laptop back on my lap, and I decide to tap it again.

The first tap is fine, but the second one pulls my finger back in and it disappears. I freak out and try to pull it away, but it won't give! I look in horror as my finger is sucked in more, and then my other fingers as well. I try to move them but I feel nothing.

My whole hand is being sucked in at this point, and my laptop is groaning now. Actually it sounds more like it's growling at me!

I scream as I tug at my arm, trying frantically to pull it out of my laptop. Instead of it making this better, it makes it worse. My arm is sucked in to my elbow and it's pulling me in faster.

I'm debating calling 911, but what would I say? "Oh hello, my laptop is sucking me into it, I need help!" Yea no Reid, that's a terrible idea and it'd make me sound crazy!

With no idea in hand right now, I put my left hand on the screen to try and pull myself out, but that was a mistake. My other hand is sucked in now and it's pulling me in more, and a lot faster now. I scream loudly, praying that despite my nearest neighbors being miles away each direction that someone will hear me.

When I can no longer see my arms at all, I start to black out. I try and fight the sleep, but it's to no avail. I feel my shoulders get sucked in just as my eyes close completely. Everything is black now, and I can feel less and less of myself as I'm sucked into my laptop.

I keep fighting however, but eventually some strange wave of peace washes over me and I fall asleep...
