Five Nights and Reid Collide (TBP and FNAF fanfic)

Angel

* Miranda's POV *

"Clank." I hear in my left ear. "Shit! C'mon!" I hear Reid whisper angrily. I open my eyes and look up at him. He glances at me but quickly turns his head to the right and back to the monitor in my lap.

I look over my shoulder to the left and see Bonnie peering in. I slam the door shut and cling to Reid harder. "Whoa, thanks Miranda!" he says breathlessly. "You just saved both of our asses." he mumbles. I nod and struggle to keep my eyes open.

"Why don't you look at the right door for me and I'll keep an eye on the left." Reid asks. I nod and tap the light button with my foot. I shut the door when Chica is in the window being a creeper.

"Thanks Miranda." he says as he closes the left too. He sighs and turns off the monitor.

"What time is it??" I ask.

"Like, 3am." he says stressfully.

"How much battery do you have?"

"Um, like 56%."

"Let me take over." I say. I try standing but Reid keeps me in his lap. "Ugh Reid let me up! I can beat this for you!" I complain.

"Fine, but don't stand you'll hurt yourself." he says. I sigh as he readjusts me so I'm still sitting on him but I'm facing forward.

"Monitor?" I ask. He places it in my lap and puts his arms around my waist. I like it; it makes me feel safe. "Here, you get the right side, but we have to get into a pattern with each other so we don't waste power." I say. Reid nods and we work out a system so that everything works together.

I think of something that gets me thinking. "Is it still Night 4?" I ask. Reid shakes his head. "No, no it isn't; I was surprised."

"Then we can go home!" I say. Reid nods and checks the right door when I'm checking the left. We both put the doors down at the same time and sit there while the animatronics drag their fingers across the doors and mumble things to us.

"Beans, I'm scared!" Reid whispers into my ear. "Don't be Reid; we've got this, together." I say reassuringly. I take his hand in mine and squeeze it to show him I'm serious. Reid leans his head on my shoulder and whispers "Okay."

"You know Miranda, you're my angel." Reid blurts out of nowhere. "Wait, I am?" I whisper quietly. "You're my angel. You came to save me, and I would be so lost without you." he says. It makes me smile.

I rub Reid's thigh gently and then check the monitor. "Wow Reid, thank you. You're my angel too." I mumble. Reid seems very happy with that, and he shows it by holding me tighter and kissing my cheek.

"We're almost there Reid." I whisper as I watch the power go down into the single digits. "Miranda, we're never gonna make it!" Reid cries fearfully. "Yes we will!" I say. The power drops one by one until it's at 1%. "No, please..." I plead silently.
