Logan's wrists were handcuffed, resting on the table in front of me as his smirk rested on his face.

"Did Elena King finally get the balls to realize I'm not all that bad?" A taunt, one I wanted to shove back in his face. Jail had done nothing to deter Logan from thinking he had sway in the town, over me, over Sofia. "That maybe, just maybe precious little Sofia-"

"I'd stop while you're ahead," his smirk fell, "Here's the deal, I need information on Bucky and the Barnes family, and you're going to give it to me. The Barnes members broke into Rogers HQ a week ago," he bristled at the name, good, he needed to remember he was nothing compared to what Steve and Sofia were now. He was a mere speck of dust in their world, in our world. "Sofia, Julianna, and I were held at gunpoint, it was the Barnes family men, what are they after?"

"What makes you think I know anything?"

I wanted to scream, Logan always was a cocky bastard when it came to me. He hated that I could match him toe to toe when he argued with Sofia. So of course he was going to put up a fight, he was going to want something in return. I had come in hoping that I wouldn't have to say anything about Sofia dropping the case, and maybe I won't have to, "Because Logan," I leaned back, careful of my phone on my thigh, just below the table and out of his sight, "If I remember correctly, and please let me know if I'm wrong, you ran off with Bucky when Sofia and Steve got engaged, and then you stalked and harassed her, posted a sex tape online to embarrass her and ruin her reputation, which didn't happen might I add, you kidnapped her, held her hostage, and then turned yourself in when Steve showed up," I folded my hands, placing them on my stomach, "You spent a lot of time with Bucky, help us help you, or rot in prison for all I care, I think you're exactly where you're supposed to be."

"You sure know how to win a man over."

Silence overcame the room as I tried to slow my racing heart, while I tried to simmer the anger that was boiling over. "If you want to help yourself, Logan, you'll help me," Breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth, I hated that I let him get to me, but I wanted to climb over the table and slap him. He genuinely thought he was tough, and intimidating, when in reality all I saw was a scared little boy. He was the child that knew Sofia was always going to be his, and when she fought back, when she went after what she wanted, he retaliated, because he had no other plan, he was supposed to be in Steve's spot, and now he sits with his wrists handcuffed and in the town jail. "Help me, help you."

Logan raised his eyebrow, lacing his fingers together. "That sounds like you have an offer, what is it?"

I took a deep breath, blinking slowly to try and stop the tears. I hated even having to say this, to give him even false security of Sofia dropping the charges. But this was my leverage, this was how I got him to speak. "Sofia and Steve have agreed to drop the charges," Sofia had sent me a message on the way saying that their lawyer approved me saying this, because I'm the only one with the recording, there's nothing on record, making it where the statement cannot be used as evidence. "Only if you give us what we're looking for."

Logan tapped his fingers on the table, before sighing, he knew it was too good of an offer to deny. "George, Dad, Ethan, and Elijah are trying to take over Jade Lake," Logan explained, "I don't know a lot of details but from what Bucky said, George is the mastermind, he wants to get rid of the mayor, saying he's too soft, his main target is Sofia and Steve because they have the money and the power in the city, which makes all of you collateral. I don't know why exactly they want to take over Jade Lake, something about finances and politics, I think they were getting Mickey's dad in on it, but because of his ties to the senate office Mr. Henry has been a little more apprehensive," Logan swallowed, looking down to this lap, "George has Bucky on a pretty tight leash at the moment, George had always known where we were, it was his idea to have us go missing because it would knock Sofia down."
